"CARNAGE""HORUS"Your presuming that every human WANTS to pvp as stated before not all do it should be balanced around how many humans can POSSIBLY turn up it should be balanced around how many ARE turning up as i EQ has been at every wotw to date. The main point for me is this. It should not be needed to out number devils 3 to 1 in order to win conti. There is no problem with the players at all. Last Wotw I turned up for 5 minutes. I saw naked devils tanking humans. When we stoned a devil it took 6 humans two spell casts each with weaken to kill 1 devil. By the time the devil died 2 humans were left that did not have to retreat to then safe zone. Regardless if we turned up 5-1 we would still be owned as you normal bow hits take a stupid amount of hp. You cannot expect humans to turn up to play cannon fodder, it is not fun and there is no reason why they should. What really annoys me is that you guys think we are whining.... you guys are very ignorant. You devils do not even put forward a valid solution or attempt to help the situation with regard to wotw and the main problem is because you don't think there is a problem. Down the line it may sort itself out but we are playing for the here and now and right now it's not right. Be honest to me, is that hour a week WotW fun for you? Would you like it a bit closer or do you just want conti?

No offense intended here but isn't that more a fault with the players rather than wotw itself if people choose to just not go? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding what you mean here.

"SHATTERSTAR" All depends really because I'm not playing this server for the single purpose of having one hour enjoyment a week at wotw still doesn't mean I want it to be dead though for others sake as for me, being honest here I welcome any changes to fix this but truth is I'm not bothered. If people don't want to show up that's their choice while a bit lame I'm perfectly fine with it, I mean conti abs have been good to me so the more time there the better.

The "need more humans" posts again? did anyone see we out numbered devils last conti war? lol, how much do we have to outnumbered devils by to stand a chance? and why do we need such high % just to compeat? it's ridiculous, we shouldn't need high % and we shouldn't need to out number devils.
But the damage is done, the devils will continue to gain aswell as humans but you can be sure it will never be even between the both races, wotw is and will always be broken until everyone hits cap.

I haven't read about 3 pages of this because it's just a bit much for me to want to cope with and I'm a bit tired of it already from previous weeks, so I'm just going to throw this out there:
I was lvl 48 at WoW and *some* mages were taking half my hp without weaken. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that is the damage cap people. Yes I can out pot them one at a time because I carry 100 hp pots to WoW. I see people saying you shouldn't need 3 humans to take a lone devil and, yes, I see what your point is, but when it all boils down if it was a completely level playing field on a 1v1 basis then I guarantee that 90% of humans would turn up and then the outnumbering would suddenly become a huge part of it and then the shoe would be on the other foot. Also, when anyone says "I was seeing devils tanking humans naked, it took 6 of us, blah, blah..." have a little think about who those devils were. Was there really more than one? Probably not. If there was more than one, I sincerely doubt there were more than 2. because not many can really manage to do that. Now, I think I'm a reasonable level really, above the average at least. If some mages can 2 shot me without weaken then you can't really say that even at 70% it was still too imbalanced. At 70% even our hardest melee devil is probably equivalent to less than 80 str. think about that. That is just 1 guy too; that doesn't even represent the majority of the devil population. Surely we're at a point now in the % where int probably isn't even your best option anymore because of the damage cap? Just a thought. Oh, and saying you don't need more humans to turn up is just bullshit. I was around the castle and in the throne room the entire time and I maybe saw 6 different people. Of course you're going to lose if only 6 people are making any real attempt at an assault. If you want Conti you will have to get your shit together and take it from us, because we sure as Hell want to keep it.

Really bored of the telling more humans to turn up argument. Its not a fun war for the average human.
People keep saying it but it doesn't seem to be getting through. Dsoma was released several years after hsoma and had rates increased to make them competitive with humans sooner. Even on esoma devils got crazily strong too fast but at least our top humans could stand out of save zone without dying in less than 5 seconds. WoW shouldn't be balanced around dragons breath.

It negates entirely the 'burst' a human can put out.
Remove the +100hp pot from Dsoma and you just watch how fast devils drop.
It's not an exaggeration in the slightest to say that even at 100% humans can 2 shot devils, the problem is that using +100's, a devil can cap his health back too quickly.

Like I said in your thread about this, I don't agree because you try tanking a few people that do damage with +100's and see how quickly they burn, it's pretty quick I know because I've tried. There's downsides to these pots as well as the obvious benefit. They'll negate damage but not for very long especially if the people are actually hurting.
