any ideas how to use keyboard in windows 8?

I have a keyboard on Windows 8 and i just plug it in and it works :D |

cannot use the f buttons in game as it just comes up with volume,lock,brightness ect

this isnt a Windows 8 unique problem. im assuming you have a laptop. the function keys by defauly will work stuff like volume etc
in order to use the key as play F1 etc then you need to hold the Function Key, Generally a Blue FN Key. if you would like to swap this around so you have to hold the FN key and then f1 etc for the features there will be an option in your BIOS.
