Rewind is a win/win.
It'll bring back some numbers, it wont reduce numbers. The people who will play forever no matter what (the ones still left), will play if its rewound, they wont just suddenly give up if they've lasted this long. |

A rewind is pointless if you don't first prevent botting/cheating because they will just continue doing it.
Since those players have circumvented everything the GMs did to prevent nefarious actions, it is hardly fair to blame the GMs. The people who botted and cheated are the ones to blame for the demise of the game. Simple as that.

make +5+ items non xferrable won't cure all cheating, but is a good starting point ( and rok2man why post off a level 1.. u too scared to show us who ur main is? ) ulterior motive guys .. those who spent/make money are frightened of a rewind simple as that .. always has been with critics of a rewind... EVERYONE knows a rewind would inject some life into this game.. and yes, may still be some cheating, but there are ways to curtail it.. not totally but things could be done

Challenges need to be considered so that ideas such as the +5 untradables etc can be brought to the forefront. I think it's inarguable that you must focus on inevitable challenges, otherwise you're preparing yourself for similar results, just as it's inarguable that a reset would mean greatly increased player activity.

The request for a wipe is way over due and the damage has already been done. Years and years people was requesting it, instead everyone has now moved on and forgotten about this game. It was denied by the same idiots that still play this game. Let the server rot in piece.

have seen this server testing - the client updates are real smooth and is actively working on new content before full release and seems like could be decent, its only in test phase atm but it gives me hope and the devs on there are easy to report bugs too and they said they arn't going to be another Myth of Bans server they have also fixed dsoma stat system and they dont intend to ruin dsoma with the current stat system somadev has
