An idea!
Remove +100hp pots from Dsoma. Why? They serve no real purpose in the game PVE-wise, they only provide a means to survive burst damage (which should be the way you score kills). It also creates the situation where devils are able to take on 7 humans at a time, simply because they can out-pot the damage. 4 pots and you're back to 100% health - coupled with the fact you can remove weaken so easily and return fire to interrupt the caster. What will happen? PVP will become more even, devils will die easier as they can no longer 'fullcure' themselves with these crazy overpowered health pots. We'll also see devils hitting the floor more often when humans launch their offensive. -- Currently, humans hurt, a lot. But they die pretty quick when you have a group of devils on them. Currently, devils hurt, a lot. But they don't go down as easily even though they take truckloads of damage from spells simply because they can pot back to full health so easily. --- Feedback welcomed.

Here's my feedback, no.
Why? they're already the highest weight for a reason you sacrifice the amount carried for the amount healed especially with added pot delay. As an example that little pk fight that happened at the most recent wotw I was using +100's and literally burned through my stack in like 40 seconds when I had a few people on me. I don't think pots are the problem.

I think devils will need +100 pots for end game. Even with old weapons DSoma PvP is a lot faster than HSoma so with the delay having +50 pots max could be an issue.

Well then during wotw only? Carnage raises a fair point, but he was tanking humans and devils... How can a human hope to land a kill when it's possible to tank 7 people for 20+ seconds, but it takes a devil about 10second to kill a human (alone).

"CARNAGE"Here's my feedback, no. At least you now agree that there is a problem.

"STU"At least you now agree that there is a problem. I've never once said wotw was faultless, I do think there's been some moaning in places there shouldn't but faultless is something it's not. |

Would you care to suggest something that would solve the issue?
As you rightly stated in another thread there's not much point 'burning money' (on pots) if your not gaining anything. If I were you you I'd be bored tanking 10 humans, there must be a solution that will bring the enjoyment back for all parties. Maybe not giving you the option to buy health would be a good start.

Different pot delays for different pots, i.e. greater delay for +100 hp pots, than say +50 hp pots, not a huge delay, just enough to slow potting whilst still making the largest pots the best option.

"STU"Maybe not giving you the option to buy health would be a good start. To be honest I'd be cool with most options but the pots need to go unchanged, just like Ghostlord already said my main concern isn't even wotw it's actually the effect on pvp outside of wotw. Now for people that don't actually pvp it's perfectly fine to have pots changed but over on dsoma what size pots you carry is a major part of weather you can actually fight or not. So in my opinion it seems a bit unreasonable to ask for pots to be changed for the sole purpose of wotw which happens once a week compared to regular pvp which could happen at any moment.
