Right guys, as rumours start spreading and sides start forming i've dicided to write a bit of a wall of text. i'd like to take this opportunity to make clear the position of myself as well as the position that Revive wants to be in.
Somasubzero is our leader and has asked me to take care of inter-guild relations. I personally am looking forward to some friendly competition on the server though I don't plan to take part of it. I haven't really kept track of who is who so I'm just taking everyone as they are showing themselves to me ingame. This being said. I know how the HSoma top community can be. Let's call it... enthusiastic. It's really the reason why I played DSoma on the test server. I enjoy my own pace without any of seriousness that competition can bring out of people. We've had friendly GvW's on dsoma with a tight community and I'm quite sure we can create the same kind fun on hsoma. I've made a few friends on every side and it's been fun reconnected with people that I did know better in the past. I've also found myself in a different part of the community, people I've never really met in soma, but have been playing for as long as I have. It's been fun so far and I'm quite sure we continue to keep the decent community we seem to have now. This of course, is an overall statement and not pointing at any individuals. Based on my experience so far. Revive is striving to be a neutral lvling guild. Friendly to all. None of us have shown any interest in GVW or any PvP. Though we do enjoy a good ToV. :D The one who did want to go into PvP has left us. Even though we're sad to see Xilro go we respect his decision to join a PvP guild and wish him nothing but the best of luck. He's left to allow of to stay neutral, we are thankful for that. We will do this again for anyone who wants to join for a more active playstyle. Regardless which side they wish to join. We'd like to be a haven for the lower levels. Where people can feel 'safe'. And who knows, maybe in a month or three we might even dicide to participate too. :D In the short to mid term future we'd like Revive to continue to be a lvling guild that's seperate from the PvP community in a sense. Welcome to all. Anyone who would take a side would be asked to leave or even kicked if problems occur, again regardless of side. I know some of the more PvP oriented guilds have also taken in more people. Some of them may not want to as active in PvP. I'd like Revive to be an alternative option for those people if they wish to step out into a safe guild. This of course, does not mean we won't even get pked. Pking is part of the game. There are a few random pkers who do go have a skirmish every now and then and that's fine. I'd just like to ask them to continue as they are, respectful enough to not grief and move when the fight is over and call GG. To not get personal but still have a good fight. Now, if we do get dragged into the politics and things turn to shit as they I can forsee the following happening. Our top will continue as they are. Avoiding pvp, warping whenever there's real trouble. Standing their ground when they can. some of our lvling guys will soldier on with. Some will quit. Other will leave and make their own guild or try to disappear in obscurity. As I said, Sub has asked me to take care of inter-guild relations a bit. So if there are any questions feel free to pm me ingame or on discord. Apologies for the wall of text. Maybe I'm making it too big but at least these are my thoughts. Thank you for reading Squeezie / Ghostlord *edit 3 months is not an actual timeline. It's just a though read it as 'mid to long-term future'.
