Sword - Widely derided on here but Gisado (a high level sword user) has good stats at high level. It gives a good mixture of strength and dex. 5th is probably the biggest hitting pvp aura. Nux - Plenty of chars use nux as it gives good dex whilst also decent str, plus it's fast therefore you don't need to worry too much about upgrading. 4th is really good for bosses too. Spear - gives str at a slightly lower rate than axe but still very good gains. Benefits from 2nd which is a great aura both for training and pvp. There is no 'perfect' build really. You can have a very good melee char (focus on dex and str and ignore int), or you can make a strong mage char. Alternatively you can make a balanced char that will be strong in both classes, but not the strongest. All types will have advantages and disadvantages. As Iphios said just do what you enjoy doing, otherwise you'll find it boring and most likely quit.[/quote]
