But you do get on your high horse an awful lot when it comes to playing your own character 100% yourself with no multi, philli or bot. It's an online game where the key to being a high level is having more spare time then anyone else.

err,,,,,, ive moaned about pilots, and never got on my hi horse about doing it ''all myself'' . Multies can never be stopped ofc not.. wife/hubby/bf/gf combos ..flatmates combos mate combos..err no high horses here. ;o

Sadly we will never know how good plum is or was because he cheated alot on the stone.
What we do know is he leveled to 100 about 6 months quicker than anyone. As for the OP. The game is and always will be a grind. Ignore the negativity. Play how you want to play and have fun. If you don't, you won't stick around. So use whatever weapon you want, and do int dex and str to what ever value you want.

My experience of soma...
was mentaaalllll it's a game that can make you enjoy yourself, quit your job, ignore your misses, not give a f**k about the real world and all dem great things xD... HOWEVER it was when my guild wasn't 'the underdog' anymore I started to lose love for the game, before anyone says it wasn't ego issues or anything was just simply a self issue (no emo) I literally couldn't go to bed without working out how I was going to build my char to be able to compete with the best, I know it sounds crazy but soma is an emotional rollercoaster when I started getting to this stage I pretty much went from 15 hours a day to 3 hours a week, I would literally log on to soma go hunting see some guy i'd be hunting with and all of a sudden this 'perfect character' i'd built in my head was wrong and I had to re evaluate I literally started to hate this game during this time. My advice: Join a nice small guild with guys you can have a laugh with, literally when I joined firetrap at near enough the start of the server there was not a better place to be it was literally the best guild on server hands down for me anyway. - Have fun. - Don't ruin your relationship (for real) - Bring more real women to soma it's a sausage fest, xD - Go pure axe and give zero f**ks - Amuse yourself about how sad the people who are so serious really are. Last but not least don't become a prick.

If the level cap had been raised when it should there would not be any of this worrying about the perfect build or worrying about fucking up your char at 100.
Soma seems like it's trying to be warcraft now, after cap (which shouldnt reasonably be attainable in this game) it's all about how good your gear is and improving your gear. Might as well play warcraft? Once all the semi casuals reach cap your basically playing a 2D warcraft item chasing.

This is no different to esoma, at the top levels it was all about items on there too. The reason for not raising cap was a valid one at the time as well.

People multi'd and philli'd to get to cap and isylver always said that it wouldn't be raised for these people. I believe it should be looked at soon though as alot of people are nearing the cap
