Hi all. Something that has always eluded me: what does the number in brackets mean on evasion armor?

Actually, I've always wondered this.
I've just assumed that you get (x%) added evasion for each piece of armor. It's how dex and evasion works I think. Eg. If you have 21 dex, and a mob has 21 dex, then your added evasion bonus from the armor will work accordingly. It starts to get complicated when mobs have higher offensive dex. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Actually, thinking about it. 1% evasion bonus would mean +1 soft dex

From what I remember DEX sets like Displacer give (example numbers) 10% eva (20%) of the time. So one in five hits you have 10% more evasion.

Evasion 10% (10%)
Basically it's 10%evasion (10%) of the time. |

So, if I wear 4 pieces of gear with this on I have 40% evasion 10% of the time? or 10% evasion 40% of the time?
Does make sense though, thanks for the input so far from everyone :) |

Each piece has the ability to give you 10% evasion 10% of the time, so there is a chance you will have 40% evasion at some point.
