All,
Has anyone noticed a marked decrease in the drop rate for armour/weapons recently? I spent an incredibly long time trying to have some armour drop and only had barr and SG. A normal hunt would normally yield at least one item worth noting but since we lost conti there has been barely anything. As a side note, I bought a resi scroll from Lamatra and only just noticed it is an Hsoma item...could this be rectified? Thanks.

its unfair that we don't have anything comparative to hunt without conti, im stuck at tark paladins in hwan when I should be on giant lizmen or minos in conti. sure we have garg fighters instead of conti abs' but that's just 1 mob the rest we have nothing else to hunt. we need to have incentive to get conti I know but surely add another 1-2 mobs of equal stats so were not entirely gimped without conti.... instead of giving humans MORE choice by buffing conti mobs for them.
on a side note ive been hunting tark paladins in SPEAR spot for 400% now which equates to probably 2500 paladins killed and have only had 1 untagged spear... doesn't seem very realistic to me.

I posted this elsewhere, this might be a more appropriate place to say this.
I was raiding on conti the other day(pre 40% of course..), and was killing random mobs that were around me. Got epic silver bow, couple rare helms, and a rare shield. I'm talking like, i killed maybe 10 mobs and got 4 tagged items.. WHERE IS THIS IN DSOMA?!?! For the record, I've done well over neoxian's 400% at tark paladins, AND HAVE NEVER seen an item drop besides special gem. NEVER. I would say I've done close to 700% at paladins. There has to be something incorrect here?

My hauls usually consist of special gems lol.. or if I'm lucky 1 untagged weapon that gets me an extra 3k barr. I know some places have better rates than others, but I certainly haven't found a place to level AND get anything worthwhile since rotting corpse were granted spiked armor drops, lol. Also, noting his caption, he did that in 50 minutes? WHERE IS MY #*$&%*% DEVIL HELM THEN

totally agree with you m8, the only problem is this
I have NEVER had a load half that size from anywhere, let alone while simply leveling.
My hauls usually consist of special gems lol.. or if I'm lucky 1 untagged weapon that gets me an extra 3k barr.

"NEXUSJR" It's not a case of someone can get all those uber items therefore I should also be able to get equal goods in equal time - random loot doesn't work like that. It's just that - random. It's entirely possible for you to get all the RNG rolls that end in crap for months, just as it's possible to get an SP every other kill. Sometimes you just don't get lucky. Which, imo, is proof the loot system is pretty darn epic and the RNG is operating well.

Although I don't think you should come back from a hunt with a brilliant haul every time, you should however once in a while get some loot at some point, especially since they nerfed barr drops from nearly all of Dsoma.
Take this wonderful example, a brilliant array of possible drops http://www.myth-of-soma.com/Armory/Monster.asp?id=1059 But hunting them for two weeks and not a single item other than petty quantities of barr and sgems. RNG talk all you want, but it's a bloody joke.
