Can we have some kind of design contest for new weapons and armour? I am sure some people would like to create something nice for all of us.

I dont, but maybe if someone would make the tools available some people could play around?

Recouloring skins is easily possible due to the tools available however unless someone's experienced in 3d modeling software or stupidly great in photoshop, getting anything would be rather difficult in the Armoury/Weapons department :( Would deffo be great to see some new skins however.

Im pretty sure if there are some tools available every idiot that has time on his/her hand can create something nice. Is there anything available?

Basically the effort to create new items is just insane, there is no tools out to do this.

To try and explain someone will need to create a 3d moving model to all movements that the 2d one does,

Running,walking,shooting,dying and all these holding different weapons.

Once the model is fully working then you'll be able to to create new items to work on the 3d model. Once the 3d model items are working you'll then need to convert to 2d.

Really is a lot of work...

Spells and monster can be done more easily, can even rip them from other games, but that has issues of its own...

Nothing wrong with having a design competition for new armour or weps. It'd be cool, even just recolouring skins and touching them up, as long as there's a motive for doing it and Nite is banned from entering :P

With the right tools and so on, stuff like this can be done.



Problem is just getting free monster models etc in the correct format and so on to avoid any trouble. But i'd be more than happy to have a mess about with monsters/spells if any can be located.

i had the skin recolor somewhere but cant find and link on old fourms is dead

wouldn't mind recolouring Fem invul to give it a bit more of a difference to dread
