Iv had the "Network Error:Protocol is unknown"

put the launcher into admin mode fixed this for me

Thanks for the idea. Didn't work unfortunately. My error is Operation Cancelled rather than Protocol is Unknown.

"IMCON"Firewall has no impact.

I suppose I haven't tried reinstalling, but consider:

1. That this exact error message happened before and was fixed at your end.
2. I can still get in the game using the IP posted above.
3. My firewall and computer in general hasn't changed in any way during the last week, and it was working fine previously.

It seems doubtful that this will be a fix, unless there's something I'm not understanding. I'll try reinstalling tonight when I have more time.


I understand what you mean. However as an advisor who isn't very techinical I can't help you much more than the usual advise (reboot, reinstall, firewall, etc). I'll attend Finito to the problem when I see him, hopefully he can help!
