Hello all,

http://www.gofundme.com/o1perc

Sorry this isn't Soma related, but please read on - and if nothing else, please share the link via facebook or Twitter.

my beautiful niece Maisy is turning 1 years old tomorrow... but all is not well.

At a few days old Maisy was diagnosed with septo- optic dysplasia with schizencephaly which is a disorder of early brain development. Also multiple pituitary hormone deficiency, diabetes insipidus, seizures and blindness and was told she would only have a short life when the life support machine was turned off.

Maisy is now 1 year old (a milestone we never expected to see) yet has the development of a 3 month old. She can no longer fit in the baby seats she used to and I am trying to raise money to buy her a car seat that will cater for her needs. These car seats range from £500 to £2500+.

Any extra money raised will go towards the things she needs to make her everyday life as comfortable as possible.

I am asking for donations, every little helps and I am also in the process of organising a fancy dress party to help get Maisy a disability car seat.

Myself, Maisy and the rest of Maisys family would be so grateful of any donations you can spare. Please share this with your friends and family also. Many thank you :)

Even if you cannot donate, Please share this as anything at all will help!!

Thanks - and I apologise once again for none soma related post.
