I genuinly posted here thinking I would get a couple of shares or tweets at best.
Myself, my family and Maisy are all truly greatful for all donations given by this community!! Maisy will be going to get measured for her seat at the earliest opportunity. I will post some pictures here when we get it :-). Thanks so much.

No detailed info is given, no proof of any is given (like doctor reports, etc), what will happen with the money when you dont reach your goal or what will happen with the money when you get more than you actually need (it needs more details). All you have is 1 picture of the child? Show more, with family members, yourself, etc. 500-2500 pounds? Show people what chair you are buying, why are the chairs more expensive than others? Therefor I have dicided to delete this thread in a matter of days unless full authenticity is provided. This is not because I don't support his trouble but simply because I trust noone in business and this comes very close to business. Even though it's quite unlikely this is a scam I'd hate to see the Soma community lose their money because of it.

Photos of Rich with the kid were posted, I fail to see what proof you're looking for? Why not just move to the off topic forum. This is one of the very few if not only thread on this entire forum that show the community coming together to achieve something that actually matters.
As for critique of the donate page content, it raised the goal in 3 days, I'd say it was fit for purpose.
