My name is zyar, and I am here to collect money for my gullible fellow Soma player named Haux. Even though I am not showing any proof of who I am, or who he is, I do want to show you my picture and his picture: This is me:  This is Haux:  I need atleast 1000 pounds to reshape his face. As you can see, this is a very sad story of a guy in need. Once again, there is no proof of who I am and what I will actually do with your money. As I said in my original post "if nothing else, please share the link via facebook or Twitter." I never expected so many people to show a genuine interest, it is mind blowing! The goal has been achieved which is amazing and I thank all of you who donated and shared this. I am not going to justify myself to Zyar, you can all take from his comments what you wish. Thanks for your understanding Ghostlord - My family are amazed at what this community has done. I dont know what you would say classes as "authenticity" - I can post as many pictures, write a whole book and I will still have doubters and people calling fake apart from the fact my friends and family have all donated themselves and raised the initial £575 BEFORE anyone from this forum donated a thing and they truely know this girl personaly. I am in the middle of moving house, I have a baby on the way in the next few months and I am very busy with work, so I am doing what I can. Again, Thanks to all who have helped. I will post pictures in a new thread when the seat is sorted for her :)

tbh i wouldnt even be botherd if the money wasnt 100% for a child seat and a few hundred went towards the parents having a nice night out and a break from all the hard work they have had to do over the last year! suppose you wouldnt know what that was tho zyar!

hello everyone,
i did not want to post in this thread, doing what richmich asked was going to be enough (donating and or sharing the link) for me. however while checking the forum and seeing this has gone onto 4 pages i thought i would read what was said. to say i was disappointed would be an understatement, i share the thoughts of some people about scams, i have seen many many of them. i personaly do not know richmich, only know him from soma. many months back chojine made a thread about soma faces and that was the first time i saw what he looked like. to those that wanted more proof, seeing his face on there and then with the little girl should be enough, unless you think this was a long drawn out scam. when i was young i was told if you cant say something good then don't say anything at all, words i wish some people who use the internet would heed. thank you for reading, and if you feel like trolling me please do it in pm or make a new thread, dont mess this thread up, i promise i will ignore all trolls and threats as i am way too old to care. bye bye and all take care (even the trollers)

Zyar, you're a cunt. If you don't want to donate then ignore the thread. It's clearly not a scam, if you look it's obviously a friends/family/friends of friends donation page - look at the donations and messages prior to it being posted on here. You claimed you're a "Crowd funding expert", but clearly you're not if you can't differentiate between this page to help out a disabled child with something that isn't covered on the NHS, and the type of "crowd funding" that goes on to develop prototype products on sites like Kickstarter. The template you posted is the sort of thing you'd see on a Kickstarter where a products development/manufacture is being funded in advance, where the product is to be delivered later, which has absolutely fuck all to do with what's going on here. Get a grip. Mich, completely ignore what Zyar said it's a load of bollocks. It's great there's been plenty of positive responses from the Soma community and that the target has been met. I hope you can get Maisy exactly what she needs and more.

To be fair, I don't think Zyar was wrong to point out concerns. He just could have done it in a more charitable way. It came across as lacking empathy, which is why you're now all calling him names. I thought it came across as pretty miserable too, though I didn't say so because I didn't want to bring more negativity into the thread.
It's pragmatic and fair enough to ask questions, as long as you bear in mind how it would come across to people if it turns out to be a genuine appeal. As always, there is a right way and a wrong way to say something. Ask questions, but ask kindly and assume good intent and all is well :) There's no need for everyone to be mean and call Zyar names. Kindness breeds kindness.
