I actually think he had a point.
Maybe 1 weekend a month, or something the GVW and WotW happen on a Sat & Sunday. Might bring in more players who otherwise couldn't attend. I think we all want the same thing, and that is just more people outside the regulars to attend these things. More people = more fun.

Just because it's the weekend doesn't mean people will be more available.
Have to catch up on housework, maybe some DIY - even have family round/go out and visit. for every player you'd gain from that timezone you would lose 2 from people purely being unable to attend. However, there would be nothing wrong with a once/twice-a-month "mega war" - spanning not 2 hours but 4-5 hours - which will bridge the timezone. I think that would probably be better for all & bring more people out as a whole.

I think its a good idea to rotate the war time each week. Most players are probably here in the UK but that shouldn't dictate the timing of the war. If you have a multinational guild some members will be on when ever the war is on. Its only the bigoted single nationality guilds that would be against the idea.
Who knows, they would probably end up including other nationalities in their guilds and their eyes may open to the fact just because someone isnt from your country does automatically make them a knob. Love and peace ;) lol

I will think about a solution, however this isn't a high prioritiy since I'm working on other stuff.
I do like the idea if a two-hour war once a month, but I'm not sure if it's the way to go for GVW. |

It would make the majority of the server base unhappy if the WOTW was changed to 1pm just to suite the asian community. Apart from the fact that the asian players probably make up approx 10% of the playerbase, the only europoean people able to play at 1pm would be the unemployed, so the GVW turnout would go from e.g. 100 people to about 20.
Same goes for giving the gvw/wotw set days, some people work weekends too! most people don't work night times though.

Most chars that make any difference to gvw outcome are either multies who are on all the time any way or the unemployed so the only difference would be more ppl at the war if the Chinese attended.
