Another thing you have to consider, we are all human even the most honest of people can have bad moments. Might have spent a lot of time on their character and sometimes temptation gets the best of us next thing you know you've had all of your hard work destroyed because you tried a bot or some other type of cheat
Like sure they deserve to be punished so they learn a lesson but having your character ripped away after so much time spent on it can't be a nice feeling. Even today someone's lost something that they've spent thousands of hours making all because of a stupid mistake

for minor continuous incidents yes length times are debatable but I bet its hard to define whats "minor" and whats "serious" when its all breaking certain rules.
but that's for the gm's to decide and if a permanent ban has occurred then his warnings in the past must have been for major incidents

i seriously think the punishments for offences need looking at and only ban for the highest offences eg bug abuse/duping a month long ban is a hell of a long time for someone addicted to soma and it should be punishment enough without going perm ban. there are many botters, some do afk some dont, even willow from no mercy admitted to having penumbra ( the bot in question) but claims she doesnt know how to use. in short, should give out longer bans but not permanent bans.
