Length of bans will be decided by GM's. In general the three strike rule holds up.
Though I agree that a 1-3 months ban does sound effective. We'll probably hold on to this for repeat offenders who make new characters. Which we have plenty of. |

1-3 month ban sounds effective? Personally If I got banned for 1-3 month I wouldn't give a shit about the game anymore and just quit, pretty sure you would lose your love for the game in that time, so many bans ... Counter productive for the server in my eyes

What exactly was the offence?
Everyone in this thread would be lying to themselves if they said that only Yoshimitsu had the ability to see the damage he does to other people. Without even needing to name names, wasn't there an incident where an individual on Hsoma was getting every boss kill, to the extent the game had to be slightly edited so that this mod no longer displayed damage to bosses? The player in question is and was obviously known to the Game Masters else they'd have not implemented that fix. This character is still ingame and not banned.

"STIRLING"in all fairness to much stuff has been swept under the carpet since the start of the server so there is no point in issuing bans now for the same offences that have been happening from day one? Let's translate this to real life. Because pre 2008 bankers could sell anything to anyone regardless of risk they should be able to do so now. Even though the economic system is dieing due to this there is no point in punishing them or changing the rules since it has been happening since the beginning of banking. The answer is no. Just no. Another example would be the NSA - should they be allowed to continue whatever they want because they have succesfully swept it under the carpet? Because 'it has been happening from day one'? Of course not! Times change, management changes, wishes of the customers change. No rule is set in stone forever. Just like no system can hold out forever. With me becoming GM there is a different view on things (though very similar to isylver's).
