Current end weapons Devils.

I see a problem with the way current end weapons are distributed out, our end game weapons as it stands you can obtain around level 55 all the way to cap. Couple problems with this is nearly all mobs from eb to apai drop them and most bosses. You very rarely will get a decent drop from a hunting mob and you get level 90 camped at bosses. All decent weapons stick with the high level players that I can understand. But it gives everyone below 90 a harder ride and it should.
But I think a new brand of weapons should be added. Nothing amazingly over powered but just a slight increase in att I think the basic att on these new weapons should be the same attack at the hardened current weapons, and the current hard bosses should only drop nothing from a hunting mob. I think this could free up a couple epics or even intense weapons to be shared traded to lower levels.

Could be 25/45 higher str/Dex to use and 160 skill.

Just a thought.

If you fail to attend to a boss-kill, don't expect to receive loot.

No bosses are camped aside perhaps the soul bosses, which in turn do not drop the weapons in question.

As with any game, the stronger you become, the more damage you deal, the higher the chance of you getting the last hit on the boss.

The only reason some people have more weapons than you is they play more.
That's all this game requires you to do.

I stated in my post it's fair that higher levels have better items, what I'm saying is the gap between the last weapon, this has nothing todo with me not getting loot, in fact this was a post to improve something I think would help all Devils out especially the ones that can kill bosses.

You can't say NO BOSSES are camped when you say in the same sentence maybe soul bosses are.....

Do you honestly believe the gap from obtaining last weapon to cap is right?
Do you believe all mobs after eb and bosses share the last weapon?

I do feel a new set of weaps is needed, 160 skill is to low tho, to break up the amount of lvls u have this weap

however Devils are already on 60% at RvR events, giving us more attk isn't going to help this

This is why you should read the entire sentence. The word "aside" used in the context above means that the only bosses that are camped are the soul bosses.
These bosses, as previously stated do not drop the endgame weapons.

It is clear this will not happen until level cap is increased, the highest staff on Dsoma is not even 100 skill.

Damage on Dsoma's Melee weapons due to the way the tag system works is already obscenely high, if something new was implemented it would hold simply a token value as otherwise it would make an already fragile game less balanced than it currently is.

i think we need new skill wep 160+ i dont care bout att more or less i care bout som changes for dsoma new skin somthin new that makes pple hunt for them work hard for them i dunno why its problem .. human have 150skill wep why devils not have anything we fighting here evry boss and still even hard to get epic's so hard i like to c some changes im not pushing the gms working hard just in ur free times THX.

The idea of a new weapon wasn't based on I want more attack, that's why I said basic would be a harden tag 120 it's not about attack at all, make it 1att better it doesn't really matter. It was just the fact the gap between getting 120skill and how long you have it is crazy.

New skins dropped by only top bosses gorshak maybe with 1better attack not really game changing.

I like 160/180 skill as it would free up for maybe new weapons with meaning later on.

Water off a duck's back, no problem. :)

So in essence you're asking just for something aesthetically different so as to display that you have 160+ skill?

The only reason new weapon skins have not been introduced (and armour for that matter) is that they are an absolute pain in the backside to create.
The easy way out would be to just use an existing skin and recolour it, we can already do this to our own client-side files.

I think if you realised the extent of work required for new weapon/skin models, you'd realise why there haven't ever been any made for Soma since Private Servers began.

S0r I'm very aware of the difficulties of making new models I spent many months attempting it with archeon from the original private server forum, we got close to a Christmas hat haha....

It was just a thought to plug a gap inbwteen and maybe free up some weapons that are getting stored as trading is nonexistence, and to separate all mobs dropping weapons.

Reskins would do the job.

I think I was the only person to make something new start to finish (back then anyway) i.e. 3d modelling it then putting it in game with ALL animations, this was wayyy back on the p-s forum days, it's not difficult to do it's just time consuming putting all the images into one sprite file

I did a sword with all animations inc attacking, did a new snake style mob with all but the dying animations and a few smaller bits

I know this is easy for me to say i've done but if you racked Fin or Badgers mind they may remember as I used to speak dailyy to Fin, given he lived down the road to me ;p

do you still have the files? i know its a long shot lol. would be nice to see some new new things in game

(i have no knowledge on anything to do with making anything in game so i dont know how it would work)

I wish I did, I did find the screenies when i'd put them ingame about 3-4 years back but the files are long gone lol :(
