Hi all,
Just thought I'd make this post mainly for the gm's to read and leave feedback. After recently obtaining 4th axe I feel some what disappointed. After spending so many hours getting it I feel this nerf that was suppose to be for h soma is BADLY effecting us d soma axes. Take our dex, I'm not complaining I chose the class I no we sacrifice dex for str etc, but the BIGGEST thing the class had going for it was a+ 4th. The way it is currently I have an epic axe with low recoil that is almost the same speed. Ghost is completely aware of this and tbf has said he will look into it. Thanks for reading, looking forward to responses Regards ra

Well, work recently has forced me to slow down my pace to get 4th axe, but I should get it today American PST, and unfortunately this disappointment is pretty much what I expected a couple of weeks ago. Nerfing a one-class only class because the human equivalent needed the nerf is a bit brutal imo, and I hope the GMs can return the A+ glory, as dexless as we are it's pretty much our only positive thing to look forward to besides actually hitting mobs lolol, joking..
I really believe if it's required to give us a separate, A+ speed 4th from humans, it should be done, as 4th axe is now something to be laughed at, seeing Rahaz's reaction to it. You can't punish a single weapon class for something on the other side of the conti portals...

If 4th axe got nerfed should remain on but worlds.
Dsoma axer vs hsoma axer both using 4th but one hitting faster than the other doesn't make sense, that's like saying dsoma 4th bow should be weaker than hsoma because dsoma archers have more powerful weps |

"RAVER"If 4th axe got nerfed should remain on but worlds. It makes sense. Look at it this way. 4th axe was nerfed FOR HUMAN SOMA, because everyone would bow/axe and have great dex and A+ speed attack. Devils do not get this option. We attack with Axe. That's it. No other auras, no magic. AXE. And that hurts our chances to even compete with other classes due to our dex gains, but 4th was the ULTIMATE equalizer. And now it's really not. Where is the problem with giving it back to us? You axers on human soma will outdex us anyways. I don't think the "because we don't get it, you shouldn't either" argument works very well here.

Ok well I see your point, but surely axer has more str than other class to compensate for the less dex?
Can't see many human getting much past 110 dex I'm guess it be well slow if they can manage it before lvl 100? What's a dev axer dex at 100? |

You've gotta understand before you continue, this aura means more balance within devil world, comparing to humans is gonna seem a bit wrong with our stat gains anyways. When I broke 100 str, i had about 86 dex. Compare to a bow user, my RL friend, unnamed(many know), at the same level, had 102+ dex and 94ish strength

After getting it, it feels sluggish, and I hope it can be reverted to A+

indeed seeing the axers at AB's in pve against low dex mobs even isn't great when al the epic/intense weapons are so fast anyway.
on a side note :- nerf archer and sword recoil. |

"NEXUSJR""RAVER"If 4th axe got nerfed should remain on but worlds. Personally I say leave the aura as it is but buff the speed of dsoma axes a bit to help keep you competitive, you don't have the same advantage of picking up a bow any time you feel like it.

"ISHARIE" I like the idea mate, but no matter what speed an axe would be it would be pointless as 4th aura is B speed, surely you arent buffing axe speed to better than b? It would be better to simply return the speed back to A+ as with it you rarely use any other aura, especially with leveling. That's the point of 4th, to be a large aid to devil axer for sticking through the grind of D speed, low dex/con leveling.

"NEXUSJR""ISHARIE" Maybe B speed for all devil axes over 120 skill? I'm not sure how this one can be resolved to be honest, I know you axers are getting the short end of the stick atm and it will become more noticeable later

Changing the axes would only cause more trouble as we'd need to replace 4th.

It does seem a tad harsh. But PD is imo the most op aura in game now...im sure youll say youd prefer a speed AoO but a high lvl axe user in good gear will be unkillable...
