Dunno wats with the new reboot but i suffer many problems in playing soma. These problems were the following:
1. When i log on, after 10 mins i think, it will automatically disconnect. No matter how many times i log in, it will dc in the end. 2. New casting time seems great but it will also cause a little bit lag. 3. I noticed when my char will just stay in a one place (even though i cast spell), after 10 mins it will automatically log out. But if u move and switch places, 20 mins would be allotted before the disconnection occurs. Need help with this. Tnx

I don't get how the title and your post match up haha, and I think you're the only person experience dc's that frequent I get myth of soma has stopped working every hour or so when trying to cast.

I think he was trying question if the'yve implemented forced dc's every X minutes to combat afk botting. #1 - On some days i do get tons of d/cs; no lagg - straight d/c. Because it can occur so freqently, I even changed my password a few times (i thought someone may have trying to log onto me.) Then some days i get absolutley nothing. #2 - Doesnt cause me lagg - i do get an occasional null cast though, mostly weaken. #3 - this does happen - i used to have if quite often on my healer character - they would get stationary d/cs even though they were casting.

Try not using youtube/and sometimes net page make d/c's i also got this problem but just when im using em

I've also been having the disconnect issue since the update. I honestly thought it was just me until now.
I don't use a bot, but I did start using pingzapper. (Tbh I didn't really notice much of a difference, but figured it didn't hurt anything.) Could it be a way to block that? I'll try playing using the regular client later today and see if it still disconnects.

It does disconnect on normal client had stopped working error 3 times today

I thought it was 1 hour. Maybe that explains it then. Either I got the time wrong, or they reduced it to 30 minutes. But yeah, that might be it. Thanks![/quote]

I don't think the disconnections are anything to do with pz, I've never used it and I'm using the original client. Yesterday I disconnected a number of times, idk what the cause is as each time I disconnected I was doing different things.
Screen res is a good shout as I have the same problem whenever I try to increase the height of the window, I have to stick to the standard height.

i notice slightly more disconnections also after update ... no pingzapper , use normal client and standard window size
maybe a few each day ... when i have multiple windows on its mostly the one where i dont move a lot (tank char for the other) |
