Had a weird bug that has happened twice today, first time I didn't realise what it had done.
I basically left the game running whilst I went down stairs and when I came back up stairs the game had closed down and it would no longer launch. So I uninstalled the game reinstalled it and started playing again this time I had the folder open as I was playing that game and the client randomly closed down again, as it closed down 2-3 files disappeared out of the folder both the launcher files this time (Last time it was also files had gone missing but different files to this time.) They are not in my recycle bin and they haven't just moved elsewhere in the folder... Don't know why/where they went, any ideas?

Managed to replicate this, reinstalled the game AGAIN today was trying different resolutions but my game was being buggy even at 800x600 log in screen ripple effects were purple and the hand pointer wasn't actually where the game thought it should be. After closing and loading the game about 3 times it launcher .exe files both got deleted from the folder on their own as the game closed down with no was to recover them...
Has anyone else had this kind of issue?

I wish I could help you. The only thing I can ask you to do is check your firewall make sure it isn't that moving your stuff.

Well I have found out what this issue is. AVG is detecting Myth of Soma as a threat. It won't even allow me to install the game any more. Makes me a little weary as a game as old as Myth of Soma surely would so up as clear on something like AVG because the files have been around forever! So something must have changed with these files...

The client did change here and there. It's what brought us the new clicker, hp bars, etc. :P
Glad you found it out! |
