Here's the situation. Open launcher, select Windowed Mode or unselect it does not matter. In Windowed Mode Instance the client launches as a white box for about 2 seconds maybe less and "Myth of Soma Client has stopped working dialogue box pops up. Same thing happens for full screen mode except the whole screen flashes white.
Now I don't get this one bit, I have played Soma on this computer plenty of times. I changed around compatibility settings, I reinstalled everything, I am clueless. Now here is one thing that may play a part not exactly sure or not but I am running Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview Build 9926 and it seems as if more programs are acting up the more time goes on than any other operating system because lets face it, that's just how computers work; after a certain amount of time and usage everything gets slower and has more problems. So please if you know what it is for sure tell me, had the same or similiar problem and figured out a way to fix it tell me how you did it, or if you have a strong belief you know what to do to fix it please tell me. I am just asking if anyone has any ideas of where to start or what to do to get this worked out other than reinstalling my OS which I am going to do in a few weeks I just have to develop a new system of backing everything up first. I usually format and reinstall everything once every 3 months and hate spending an entire day putting everything back together especially with all the pirated software (you didn't hear that from me haha) so I am trying to find a way or develop a method to format, reinstall the OS, and have it put my programs back to the exact way they were on day 1 with the possibility of keeping my preferences or customizations. Any tips on that I would appreciate as well. Thank you

Done everything that was recommended and still nothing. I have ran Soma on Windows 10 prior so I have no idea why this is not working. I am in between moving from my brother's apartment to my own right now so things are everywhere but I am going to try to find a flash drive and install the most recent release of windows 10 and format everything problem is over the last 5 years my brother has stolen 80% of my flash drives and SD cards totaling to roughly $600 worth of removable storage; chances of me finding one are slim to none.

I have just tried running the Soma client in a Virtual Machine running Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 10130 (64-bit) and it works.
I will see if I can get hold of the build of Windows 10 you are using and try that. Edit: The client works with Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview Build 9926. So the problem does not seem to be that you are running Windows 10.
