Do you gain stats from using 1st aura?

Whenever you cast an aura it counts as one hit with that specific weapon. So your skill can go up when using it, but you can't gain other stats from it no.

I believe you can gain str and dex using aura just at a stupidly slow rate.

Correct the original design allowed for you to gain str and dex from aura's. This may or may not have been changed here. Do note it takes a long time and isnt worth it on this server due to no level up bonuses for high stat gains.

It still gives stats.
