If this server was advertised as a casual friendly server then thats far from the truth....
Rested EXP does NOTHING to help casual players compete in the events on this server. I know for a fact that many casual players have abadoned their characters in favour for multing with other casual players (Further reducing the server pop). I see a lot of people crying here over the possibility of making it too easy for casual players to 'catch up' with the high levels. I actually agree with them tbh, if you play more you should be rewarded but is it so bad to allow a casual player to get to say 80 int (rather than having only 65 say) when the hardcore are at 100. (Remember thats probably still the same amount of time from 80-100 as it is from 10-80...). I think if casual players had more opportunity to catch up more as above then GVW's and WoTW's would be a lot more fun with a lot more players attending. The fact is I think most of the playerbase have JOBS and are still casual players relatively speaking. Unless something is done to address this gap the only people competing in this server will be multis.

"PHILKILLS"If this server was advertised as a casual friendly server then thats far from the truth.... GVW and WOTW are competitive events. As such, the more you play, the more you can compete. If you want to play Casual Soma, just play Casually. Simple as that. By no means does speeding up or slowing down the server any more would serve to "help" the Casual guy to compete with the people who like competition. I'm a casual player, but I don't piss away my time ingame - I think it's fair to say my character is pretty competitive. At present i'm playing 2 soma's at the same time (2 windows open) to make the most of what little time I get to play the game. I'm not the strongest person, nor do I expect to be, as I don't multi and like most, I too only have a few hours per day to play. What exactly do you propose that would "lessen the gap" between someone who can play 8 hours a day vs. someone who only has 2~4 hours a day?

"S0RCERER" Its not just about someone who only plays 2-4 hours or 8 hours... TBH on this server 8 hours is even casual LOL as the people that pretty much control the main events atm are multis (they mostly decide the outcome). I've spoke to a lot of people who say they dont even bother playing because they only would really have time for like 2 hours a week? What would be nice is if they could catch up somewhat even if they can only play for 2 hours (so maybe they get 5x rates for those 2 hours or something.)

"S0RCERER" its not wanting to play casual tho, its how much time you have to actuly play like iv stated already, iv managed to put in now 107 hours, so even if I was on x4 exp id only be around the 200 hour chars, hardcore/multi still at 600+ hours played aint going to ever be able to compete with them most likely, but will help to make casual and new players more competitive which surely more people at GVW and Wotw is better instead of cutting off all that content from casual/new players

No content is being cut.
The VAST majority of players are like you. As a result, the majority of people attending wars (gvw or wotw) will be in the same boat as you. There will ALWAYS be stronger people than you, in this case, it's only a handful. |

You compete against those in your level group, high lvls don't go round looking for competition from casual players, neither should casual players be trying to compete against them.
The need to close the gap stems from a want to reach the top. Just play the game, it's all I and many others do, and eventually you will figure out who is in your 'killable band' for events. No point in moaning about multies either, as if most casual players are only playing 2-4 hours a day (4 myself also), then even a normal soma player will have double hours played on you. Multies are just a target people choose to attack. Sure they're stronger, but so are another 40% of the servers population.
