i have noticed alot the chinese players are using quick log thy decided to pk u but when u hit them and thy are hitting u and u get the upper hand bang thy gone and i am sure this isnt dc cause thy are hitting u up until the point they vanish where if thy was to dc they character wud remain in game??

Is there client different to ours? I presume its the same somadev client but they still seem to be able to have their own replaceable one, like when everyone used fastcast/quicklog on Esoma just buy replacing the .exe

This has happened to me, along with many friends, over the course of getting pked and/or seeking revenge. Really annoying and quite an advantage to be able to do this mid-pk battle.

Get videos and get them banned, GM's will be forced to ban them lol.
Imho, anyone using an edited client, who is caught with video evidence should have their character deleted, permanently. Something needs to be done to deter people botting etc. at the moment, it's getting silly.

"CHOJINE"Get videos and get them banned, GM's will be forced to ban them lol. really quik log is not edited client lol,any1 who uses win vista/7/8 can left click and close soma whle playing on window mode is considered quik logg . Test Server had anti botting system integrated on the client,and when you used a bot you were getting insta banned,it seems this feature is not enabled on this specific client.

From what I understand they do a monthly edited client sweep and ban whoever has flagged up. This accounts for client bots and the like. There is not really an escape here.
The 'botters' that are rife are mostly just macro users which is reliant on people reporting their behaviour which is usually quite obvious. These are impossible to trace and rely on reports or being caught red handed per say. Quick log as mentioned above... The only way to capture people is to run fraps while pk'ing people and get bans that way. It's not a macro or client it's just closin the .exe.

Could quite easily be macro'd via third party software to close the client via the .exe file using a hot-key, again as previously mentioned, not easy to capture, unless it is actually seen by a GM I doubt anything would be done - chances are it will eventually added to everyone's client. If you haven't figured yet the Chinese community get what they want when they want it.
