Hi,

Going pure bow with a tank char. Anyone any experience / idea what mobs will give me the best stat gains?

=> Keep the mobs str 30 higher than your own str?

So good thing to start with forest / frost trolls i suppose? What a good mob after trolls etc? Mind i only have 2 windbands and not any OP dex items.

My advice would be to go to raptors u till 25 str. They have 10 def Dex so will help you get started. Also try and use any att+ items eg rof Halloween gear etc etc. Going to trolls from the start will be difficult.

i dont mind difficult thow ... just want the least % for stat gains

Obviously do what you think is best, but that's the way I would start. Also consider when you're around 50 Dex trying xenos, I found them great gains per % and reasonable to hunt.

Download and read this. It will tell you that to get best gains for str/dex you need to hunt monsters with +50 str to your own, the same goes for int.

The best 5 gains go in order of ....
+50/+30/+10/-10/-30/-50

think il focus on +30 then ... mobs with +50 str gonna have too much dex to hit
