[Epic] Axe of Oblivion Attack : 90~114 Weight : 42 Durability : 2299 Speed : E(1140) Req. Str : 167 Req. Skill : 135 [Rare] Axe of Oblivion Attack : 91~115 Weight : 38 Durability : 2261 Speed : E(1164) Req. Str : 167 Req. Skill : 135 should it be possible for a rare to be better than an epic? i thought at worst an epic should be the same as the best rare. |

I know it's not massive difference due to 4th axe but there is higher recoil on the epic which i'd personally prefer had 4th axe not existed.

The problem is that higher weight values are counted as a 'good thing' which adds towards whether or not the weapon/armour is a higher tag or not.
The axe is 1~1 lower in attack however it is 24 recoil quicker, has 38 more dura and has 4 more weight. |

"S0RCERER"The problem is that higher weight values are counted as a 'good thing' which adds towards whether or not the weapon/armour is a higher tag or not. I don't understand. You're saying that the weight has influence on whether an item is tagged or not? Or are you saying that the weight is one of the alternating stats? I'm pretty sure each stat has a boundary within which it can differ, after it is decided which tag will drop. And they can overlap slightly with lower grade tags.

What hes saying is that when the stats of the weapon is increased, it takes into account the weight as a positive attribute.
So the higher the tag the more attack, durability, lower recoil, and higher weight it can have. Personally it must be a mistake because higher weight is actually a negative thing, and as you can see by the two axes it allows for things like this to happen. It should be +ATT~ATT, +DURA, -RECOIL, -WEIGHT. It's exactly the same as staves. You don't care about its recoil, melee dmg, or its durability, but these are all seen as positive things according to the tag system) when determining its stats.

I don't think weight would influence any other stat though. ie just because you gained 10 attack shouldn't mean that you cannot get speed. It should all be seperate 'stat rolls'. Surely?

I was let to believe that recoil is influenced by weight, or was that just a fairytail?
However, I would expect a higher tagged weapon to have less weight -> more bagweight for other stuff. |

"XKF"I was let to believe that recoil is influenced by weight, or was that just a fairytail? Weight doesn't have any impact on recoil however you are right in the second part, I suspect it is just an oversight of the tag system.

"S0RCERER""XKF"I was let to believe that recoil is influenced by weight, or was that just a fairytail? in Esoma, weight did effect "recoil", the lesser weight, the quicker it would attack. I personally had this confirmed by a GM at the time. However, im not sure if it effects recoil on this server though.

"AKANDO""S0RCERER""XKF"I was let to believe that recoil is influenced by weight, or was that just a fairytail? The GMs had no clue how things functioned. Especially so for Radiankh, Slither and Nixher. Most things were found out by players during server leaks. Weight has never had any impact on recoil or attack speed whatsoever.

Yeah I'm sure speed was just a min and a max and it would fall on anything between regardless weight or tagg
