I don't know if any auras/stats have been tweaked on these weapons. I did hear someone mention that 4th Axe has been slowed down?

But for str gains and leveling purposes with Bow being the main weapon til roughly 90 dex then to use pure Str on then onwards.

Does Spear give good str gains compared to axe?

Axe/Bow is still the best combination for levelling if you want to maximise gains.

Spear is decent for strength but you can gain a lot more in the same amount of experience using Axe.

- Hsoma 4th Axe aura is 880 recoil (Speed B)
- Dsoma 4th Axe aura is 780 recoil (Speed A)

If you only want 90 dex, do that first then just smash Axe for as long you want. Then when you've capped you can just switch weapons to anything you want to use.

What is the DEX cap? Is there still a soft dex cap? Where its a good place to stop

There isn't a dex cap, with regards to slow downs you'll have to ask someone else. It completely depends on the type of character you want.

With 90 dex you can cap strength at 171 and end up with 160+ int.

It depends what you want your character to be, that's one of the best things about Soma.

If you want a "tanky" char with high str and int, you have to sacrifice dex.

There's loads of different builds on the server.
