my point was why should one version of you gaining stats / items whilst not at the computer yourself (as the owner of the character) not be banned also? Bots are slower than humans as i understand so the multi/pilot lifestyle will reap rewards faster than a mechanical program will ..
cant allow one without the other if youre arguing from a fairness POV

Tbh ..there's 2 options. Play the game.. or dont play the game and waste all the time you've put in.
It's that simple really. Im sure the GM's will have a few tricks up their sleeve and a hardened attitude to any '' cheating'' in future. |

I'm always at my pc. "Other people bend the rules, so why can't I" If it's such a good way to keep people playing it should be available to everyone, an in game function. It shouldn't be something that you benefit from because you're friendly with the right players. Even if i can level faster than a bot it's still wrong, it's like you don't want to play the game or you don't want to put the effort into leveling.

The only reason i'm public about it is Isylver has said its fine as long as you are at your PC and never AFK. If that has changed i'll have to rethink how I play but I know many people don't have the stamina to try and catch multis these days especially when people like me only log onto their own chars and don't have multi crews.

Because so many people are already botting, so many people already multi and some people are spending money on pilots. Having some assistance to help clicking while you're at your PC makes Soma less boring and keeps people playing.

Single IP is dumb, but it should be obvious when an IP which has been on one account the entire time suddenly migrates to another and with that you can stop pass around characters, you can stop new multis and the bitterness that comes from characters who can't be multied will self regulate the rest.

What if a person moves home? What if they use a vpn one day? what if they log in at work?
