What are the str/dex gains ratio wise, even % wise if possible after 95 str/dex with sword/axe? Is it possible to get from 100 str - cap in roughly lvl 75-100 with sword alone? Just trying to figure my route out :p
Cheers! |

I don't want to put a downer on you, Soma is great, but realistically, if you don't level this way then you're gonna nerf yourself.
Wait until a tyt mob event to get your con, you want to go minimum 26, it'll take a few days of solid punching. You need to do this below 35 str or you'll gain too much % doing this, this is why you cant do it at later levels. If you do con any later your STR will mean you'll be gaining pure lvls of xp and no stats, only con. Then you basically have to choose bow or knuckle, because DEX gains are based on STR. If you have high str dex takes longer to get, so you want to stay as low str as possible to maximize your dex gains. If you don't do this then dex will be hard to get later on. For example. If you have 40 str and are hunting raps in merc, you can keep hunting them with bow and gain about 45-50 dex just on merc raps because your str is quite low and dex is based on str. But if you do axe on raps until you get 50+, then you try doing bow on them, the gains will be slow because it bases the gains on your str. so you have to do bow or knuckle until something like 100 dex i dont really remember what it is. only then do you start doing an str weapon. If you havent wasted lvls getting con too late and other stuff you'll be abek to squeeze more int in for the lvl 100 cap. Its not great the way it works right now, i would love it is dex wasn't based on str and it could be a stat you just gain on its own, but it is what it is.

Appreciate the effort in the post, I'm already at 95 str/dex just curious what dex id end up with roughly and if I'd hit the str cap from level 75-100.
I'm sure someone must've tried something similar :-) |

Anyone who has played sword realistically to a high level, has always swapped to Axe at the last str slow (156).
If you want more information, pm Gisado or Sandokan... But the last str slow kills every wep apart from Axe. |

I done it like this ... bit of sword and bow at the start but then bow untill 102+ dex, then i swapped sword again till 156 str, at that time i had around 111 dex (ratio was around .5 str for .1 dex)
I decided to cap str with axe because i would like to leave some room to train int also. Axe will get me str at around 2.0% after 156 (at level 94), i been told by sagi its about 4% with sword. If you keep doing sword after 156str you can cap str also and will prob have around 114-115 dex, but less room for int sword still gives nice str ... just comes down to how much int you want also
