instead of 3 , 5, 7 day 14 day bans.... why not give 300% 500% 700% 900% penalties etc etc..that way .. the '' offender has to work off the penalty ..rather than just sit back and wait ...ooof sounds good to me ..see them sweat ^^

If the ban is for using a bot they won't sweat but just bot the penalty and gain the drops.

then double the penalty
reach a certain amount.... and perma ban

They'll have to sweat out the penalty.. gaining no stats.. hoping they wont be caught again.. and if they are...boom...... thats a lotta training for nothing..epsecial;ly as they maybe caught again..

atm.. banned characters.. just levelling another character.. bit of crafting..and sit back and wait for the ban to expire. Make them work it off..... oooh ye.... sadism

If u gave me 300% penalty I'd be off to evolved beast for there drops

And as mention u give someone that bots 300% penalty and it won't make a difference as they not always at the computer anyhows

Then giving a lvl 100 300% penalty is nothing to them either, see as they are caped

Nice attempt tho, more players in Soma is always a good thing, but ppl can't always behave themselfs

Its a good idea.. capped characters arent gona bot. ppl that arent capped atm..are getting bans.. sitting back waiting for ban to expire , whilst levelling another .. make them work it off... levelling another and doin some crafting is no punishment. No1 can moan about being banned .. they just have to put some work in ..dont see a problem tbh

Some cretins are botting buying mats and crafting ..127 wep skill in 10 days... rest of us had to work weeks for that.

There are characters botted for the sole purpose of botting wraiths prisms nms for frogs / ats / dbs ect, giving them penalty wont deter them in any way...

Similarly many people / accounts are repeat offenders, why would they do the exact same thing that you have been caught for once before? In most scenarios the benefits far outweigh the chances of getting caught or the punishment.

better to make them sweat out a few levels with no stats ...? than ban them for 7 days

Would be possible to disable drops and PK mode while in this penalty, main task would be stopping people in the penalty from attending GVW.

aslong as the botters could be attacked and would still drop items till below 10% pen :p

Just rewind their stats by 2 weeks and increment it by 2 weeks each time they're caught

Not sure anyone should be perma banned on such a low user count game. Unless you have a modded client and can magicly jump around Nightmare when devils come for you at T6. They know who they are..
