Saw you post in game about a Christmas event. Heres my idea...

Christmas is coming up and Santa Clause is struggling to make all the presents for everybody in time as the Elf's have all been diagnosed with a terrible case of flu, and the doctor of the North Pole has said it's going to take at least 2 weeks minimum to recover. That means Santa's behind schedule! So he has kindly asked the players of Myth of Soma to help, and here's how they can.

Part of toys are inside some monsters, a toy consists of 6 parts, head, left arm, right arm, torso, left leg, right leg. The more full parts of toys you bring to Father christmas, the more presents he will give you, which can either be small, medium or large.
- Some Monsters drop 1 part, 2 parts, 3 parts or sometimes even a whole toy!
- You will have more of a success rate with monsters that take you longer to kill
-Father christmas will sometimes summon unexpected large HP monsters into certain areas of the world when he gets the time, when these monsters die toys go EVERYWHERE!


But. You wont be able to open these presents until after your christmas dinner, which ends at 13:00 on the 25th of December.

Namely this part, it would unbalance things for low lever players and everyone should have fair opportunity at enjoying a Christmas event as much as the next person.

It wouldn't unbalance things.

-it might take a low level the same amount of time to kill a Raptor as it takes a higher level to kill a Wraith. It's just so that high levels can't go killing low level mobs and get the same ratio of drop rate. Just like the previous event
-"presents going everywhere" means you could be close or far away from the mob when it dies. It's all about luck and how fast you are at picking items up

I thought of a great way to raise some cash for the server which would be a xmas treat for everyone.

Put zyzz in stocks in tyt and sell tomatoes for the soma community to throw at him :)

make a fortune!

Have to admit the halloween event was nice where by you didn't have to go out of your way to participate and it was open and fair to all. Would be nice to have something along those lines.

Would be nice if items were not randomized as such though. As in you could trade x number of toys for your desired item at an npc.

Say:
X Number toys for a frog
5X Number of toys for a gender potion
10X Number toys for a top end -m or something.

A menu like that will motivate people i think.
