im just going to give my opinion. i think it should stay the same. the idea of more variety of access is a good idea

IMHO after punching the first 3700% of my toon adding;
+Att or Str Accessories, base ATT + gear, consumable rested exp bonus items etc. could be a way to equitably help punchers. Thanks for Jack~o~boots ^_^

However changing unarmed to a+, even though I still have thousands of % to go wouldn't be a fair change. Not that I wouldn't benefit from it ;)

As a long term server with caps which will remain in place for some time, as stated by gamemasters, getting there faster may not make it better in the long run.

This would be something that would have to be added if even possible.
As I don't know how rested experience is being "captured" by each individual toon, however it is apparent that it is uniquely tracked for each toon.

A consumable item like corpse with effect of add % to rested for toon.

Yes but not with a huge requirement .

I agree with monster and i0_0i I have as a axer punched through hell to get to lvl 38. I did the first 15 lvls 100% punching and then 13 lvl of 50% a level. If this change was implemented it would make our leveling choices kind of pointless. As we worked hard for our stats.On hsoma it will get you to 30 con then you are done with it. On dsoma its a definate leveling choice. Do you want to level fast and be average. Or take the hard road for a very strong character.
