Sounds a bit odd that you'll actually get a leveling speed INCREASE in comparison if you move to new monster at 151str, it'll be 0.8x bonus and 0.5x bonus until you get to 171str which then becomes a 1x bonus.. Makes no sense at all.

str gains are explained .. any news on dex gains? say u was 171 str and went to new mobs, how would the dex work?

"GHOSTLORD"Hunting the new mobs pre 171 str or 176 int will give the same stats as BLG or NM. Meaning new players won't benefit from the new mobs if they start earlier than the blg / nm cap (excluding drops though of course).

This has nothing to do with lvl 100. :P

DSoma mobs will be easier to make as we will just have to base it on the lvl speed we want rather than work out the stat caps.


pls not another wbm fiasco tho i hate to use healer+mix gear again hogs are much easier than wbm nowdays lol

Dsoma mobs like apai need looking at.. With how little damage archer does compared to axe % is slower than punching hogs

It seems plenty slow enough to me anyway jr lol so must be a nightmare for other classes.
Where are people getting al this info from anyway? I haven't seen anything written just heard 'rumours'?
Would be nice for everyone to be told the same stuff rather than just what a few have been told in game or whatever,
apologies if I have just missed all this stuff somewhere

u can get little nuggets of info if u ask the gm's when they online. You have to be on when they are on. Last i heard there is gona be some '' official'' news on progress/ideas coming in next few days

Dex gains will be as normal, based on the weapon you use.

Maybe they lack the STR for that particular mob.

I think lupi is on about the gap between str and dex were at the moment that makes a difference. will the fact that someone has already got 171 str and say 100 dex. will they have the same gains as someone who had 100 str and 100 dex?

Sorry ghost its the mobs having too high defense/ low exp. and the damage dealt by knux/bow compared to axe/ spear..

With access im over hog str gains and still the issue is the same


The con swap might alterthis but time will tell

The party UI is being re-done.

It is something that we must do otherwise it would be unfair to those characters that have already capped as they could have moved onto the new monster for better gains. This will no longer be a problem for further content as static rates will be used.

If anyone can come up with a better way to solve the issue then let us know.

The new mobs will be using static rates therefore Dex gains stay the same unti lcapped the monster, str will not play a part anymore in decreasing the gains.

@finito .. umm so you could cap the new str at 200 ( with axe) ..say at lev 107ish ..and still gain dex for the 3 levels left with bow? ( even with str capped)

So just have to keep str below the cap to keep gaining dex .. ok:)

Another question.. i guess your testing/ working it out but ..
What would be the ratio of dex/ str gains.. ie
for 100% of xp how much str could you gain?..and
for 100% of xp how much dex could u gain?

(assuming using axe and bow)
