On the character selection screen or login screen or upon client connection (ie. load to first map) could we have a tips window/information appear? I only found out yesterday about /freemode and it would have been super useful from level 1. I now wonder what other tips and stuff are out there I don't know about. Would be really helpful to new users.
Make list of hardcoded tips. Randomly select one upon successful login and show it. Done.

There's a player made ingame manual (ctrl+h for the default one) floating about these fourms that also has all the commands a player can use
