i like soma because.. its a gear based game..and if u craft, u can make nice bows etc.. u can sr ur gear..and do upgrades..then i dont have to moan.
Weird Beginning to think there's another game of ''soma'' different to this 1.. with the comments on this post.. ''make it easier...make it faster... stat re-rolls... server rewinds coz ppl gave up 6 months ago'' Unless im in a different universe .. this IS soma.. play it or dont play it !

Well just to bring you up to speed Lupi. I created Acaelus and nearly all it's associated accounts. I played the game really hard right up to the point Plum hit 100 and quit. (read my post in this thread if you want to know more why) I can log onto any of those accounts right now and with two whatsapp messages I could get access to several other level 100s. In a way you could say that I stand to lose more than you. But the way I see it is it's all irrelevant now that every man an his dog is also 100, it feels like everyone is the same level again, like a new server on it's opening day, except the cap is at level 1. #EducatingLupiscus

The issue is you're advocating no change, when as someone else quite eloquently put it, the game is bleeding users. The fact people still post on the forum shows people do want to play, but quite a few feel the game as it is has died a death. From what I can see only you and Flick don't want to go down the wipe route because you've invested so much time into this one. It's never going to happen, Dan has said it numerous times previously when it's been suggested, but I seriously think it's the only hope of the server surviving long term. Otherwise, Lupi and Flick, enjoy your game.

The issue is you're advocating no change, when as someone else quite eloquently put it, the game is bleeding users. The fact people still post on the forum shows people do want to play, but quite a few feel the game as it is has died a death.

Doesn't seem unreasonable to wait for the update and want to finish these things? You can carry on with ur what u think is ''clever talk''. You impress no1 but urselves..i suggest you find a better hobby. Soma is here.. has been here..and will be here in whatever form the GM's see fit. Is Lupiscus actually Dibbler from Esoma? I ask because when Mandragon capped and everyone started qutting he literally kept playing until eventually, he was left playing all on his own for months.
He was probably the strongest person on the most empty mmorpg ever. He probably thought the next update would bring everyone back an he could fucking one-bomb everyone naked. What a bellend he was. If Carlsberg did delusional/desperate GM-arse-licking soma players, he would probably be Lupiscus.

The rest of the server shouldn't have to wait for you to finish off your millionth run to the loom to have some fun again.. At the end of the day i'd say there were probably over 100 people that love the game and want to keep it as good as it was before. We are trying to address that....

If it's going to take another 6 months for content, the easiest thing would be to wipe/reset to buy time.
I haven't logged in a couple of weeks, but from what I saw a few weeks back it honestly isn't going to survive another few months without anything being done. A reset gives it life, without taking up development time.
