I didn't take it as a threat, I took it as you intended.
I know that the pilot in question (whom I have not named) levels his own character and I have absolutely no problem with that.
I have no problem with him as a person either.

Even the GMs of their respected online games cant eliminate that. Go play other BIG MMO RPG games mate and you will realize that pilots keeps the game alive. Without pilots, this game will be already dead.

I see from the rules it isn't against the "rules" to let friends have access to your character (but it is at your risk).
There is a big difference between "friends" and "hired help".
Especially since the "hired help" can so easily exploit the position by planting characters at known boss spawn points and gaining an unfair advantage over other players (which is against the rules).
It's also against the rules to make (real) money by selling Soma stuff - isn't selling Soma "time" (or buying stat gains) the same thing?
Ban pilots please.

PS. I was amused to see a shout from a notable pilot (on his main) complaining about someone who was not on his own main and challenging him to get on his own main so he could "rip him". Seems someone borrowed someone else's character to nobble the pilot who then shouted "unfair". Made me laugh for hours.

SIR_ABSHOLOM IMO if it wasn't for ADDICTS the game would already be dead... it's a certain dedication that's been tested harshly. I'll freely admit I've been addicted at times, walked away and came back and got hooked. They'll always be something for folk to get out the pram about - on esoma it was multis, on here it was botters, now it's pilots it seems. Regardless of effort the game owes us nothing, it's free to play and it's been around since before I enjoyed touching boobs.

What a nice thread, even though I don't really like the topic. Props for keeping is civil.... enough.
There will not be a wipe. As far as I'm aware this is the last server iSylver will do. So we'll just have to continue updating it, regardless of the usercount. People always come back. Unfortunately iSylver has a lot on his plate at the moment and Finito is hard at work on the server when he can. I myself try to help out when I can where I can. But I'm not a coder. :( Personally I believe that resetting the server will not benefit Soma more than keeping this one running. I do believe we will make lvl 1-100 easier in the new update. I just don't know how much. i do like the idea of a PvP / mess about server on the side, but that too will become boring within a month. So I wonder if it is worth the effort. Realistically I do not see this happening.
