I started Dsoma as a mage from scratch, without any multi or help with barr from a human char, i've been relying on the kindness of strangers to get me by and have tried leveling with a range of spells but MP is just too taxing on a young Dsoma mage.
I noticed that onzu is missing some MP regen rings. There are no alternative mobs I can hunt as a mage, the only mobs I can hunt have terrible drops. I think if some Wis+ rings were added it would help us mages who don't have a someone to play our chars for us like multis do and the extensive stash of barr they also have.

Whole of dsoma uses no rings still atm even the lvl 70+'s, apart from 0-3 defence which are not really useful, even hsoma have 2 stat rings that can be crafted :/ souls are just far too rare even tho the +2 stat rings are only 3 souls each it still doesnt help much because getting the souls is the problem, as for wis yes it will help but it will be barely noticeable, as a mage u will just have to wait till the mobs u hunt make profits :[

You said you were trying Conti ABs, if this is correct think of it like this:
You get lots of % per AB, but per mana usage, you kill very few ABs, this results in very little money being made per hunt. Try hunting things that you kill easier with more frequency. You can do Warbans on Conti, they will net you a small profit, or at least help you break even. They're good until 70-ish INT by which time you'll be well on your way to EGF where you'll rake in the money (well, at least you'd make a profit each hunt by then). If Warban are too challenging for you, try Hoppers, they're good till 55int. Warban are really the "god mob" for a low-mid level devil, they're brilliant for melee and mage monsters with a nice dropfile.

Strangers helped you yesterday, They won Conti Castle map. Near every mob drop Spec. gem which should pay for your pots or mostly ;) Devil is skint to start, always has been, Devil mage is most skint at start. Just suck it up and level. To think you are doing something special by "Leveling your own toon" is a bit over board. Most of us play alone and with no other race help.

The special gems don't even come close, i've been hunting conti ab the past few hours and i'm already 50,000 barr down and it is continuing. I am sucking it up and leveling, after every mob I have to go peace and regen my MP, it is extremely slow leveling. "Sucking it up" is anti-fun though, it would be better with a little regen so we can actually level. I spend more time in peace mode than leveling. Most people multi in this server, its a fact. I'll stop moaning now anyway, as others have told me, it will fall on deaf ears.

The special gems don't even come close, i've been hunting conti ab the past few hours and i'm already 50,000 barr down and it is continuing.

No idea what your most ppl multi/self pitty posts are all about though your not the victim here plenty of people have gone before you there is things u can do to make money.

I don't think killing brics in conti is a very good way to enjoy Soma or a way players should be forced to play in an mmo. Most people do multi and it is not possible to play a Dsoma mage and level consistently without help from other people donating barr. I don't see the reason for the backlash, these are facts.
