Under the random drops on the armory I haven't seen 80% of them drop for any mob I've been hunting.. I put Palus as an example as I've been hunting them for quite a while, this applies to other mobs aswell though..
I understand back in eSoma different spawn locations dropped different things as with leiver beast, the 3 spawns drop different weapons etc. however I've tried every palus spawn I can think of yet I end up with terrible weapons or HP/MP pots/staff of sky..! With the odd knight/rare sword.

Their drop rates will be ESoma too, meaning it's about 4x lower than what we'd expect on here.

As far as I remember with Palus, the north spawn (top right) drop diamonds, the portal spawn can drop nahwans and the spawn near hoarde/cyclone shanis drop at/db....at/db may also be in some of the other spawns.

Been at palus this week also. Most notable drop was a rare Knight Sword and a frog.
Rest was as you say ... nothing special. |
