Speed upgrades

I never got to the point of using upgrades on ESoma and never really experimented with any of them to understand how they work.

What I would like to know is how speed upgrades (Swift Spirit and Tablet of Evil) effect the speed value on a weapon. Specifically, is the change additive or multiplicative?

If someone would like to post how it works (and every other upgrade for that matter), it would be greatly appreciated :)

It's additive (or well subtractive). However each upgrade also has a range, so no upgrade will ever be the same.

+1 has a lower fail chance than +2, +3 etc

Thanks!

What do you mean by each upgrade has a range? Are you talking about the success chance?

For ss/toe they has a range meaning, sometimes they will reduce a speed of a weapon more than another toe for instance, SS/ToE's have been reduced on this server but toe is probably somewhere between -50~70 recoil with SS maybe being like -70~130 recoil.

However these figures are purely guestimations therefor I take no liablity to what you or others will do with this information.

Actually Finito told me this bit of information a long time ago. It was also on the old forums somewhere but I can't find it at this point.
