You do not deserve to be as strong as them a reverse is not deserved you have put in a tenth of time others have. People have spent a good portion of their lives building a strong character too compete you literally have it easier now more so than anyone else, you have been gifted 1000's of hours during GVW with this nerf. I'm all for every level having fun i remember when EQ ran the server pretty much, i hated i couldn't kill them but i assisted Iphios, LinkDX, Ganonpk, All of firetrap even fujitora by weakening for them, blinding for them, healing them and so on, i had a brilliant time doing this why must you be able to go and attend gvw whilst watching tv, sipping tea and making a sandwich is beyond me?

There isn't many lvl 100's in faint so having a lvl 100 with reduced stats by 60% lowers them to the point of a lvl 60/80 in terms of stats so its a closer fight, I'm not talking, why are you all forgetting that its just the reverse of the old way GVW was done where it was all lvl 100 on full stats vs guilds with half their stats nearly.[/quote]

I definitely don't think a % system is a final solution as it will only detract for those on a low %. I suppose what I would like to see is a balance between rewarding those who have put in the hours and allowing those who haven't to play a meaningful part. I certainly don't want those who are higher level and have put in much longer hours to feel pointless. I just think there should be a battle (maybe even something separate to GVW) where stats are made equal to encourage fairer mass pvp. Thing like wep skill attack bonus/wep attack/wep speed/armour/access can all stay as they are, giving an advantage to those who have spent the time gearing up.

Lets be honest, having the GV provides only a small benefit for the holder. GVW should be a test of skill I believe, not how many hours you can grind.

Why bother gaining any stats if you are all put on the exact same level/stats?
There will be no difference in builds etc, everyone will be exactly the same.
The only fun left is GVW and yet that's being turned into a joke especially with all of these warped ideas being thrown around that no matter how much effort you've put in, you will be nerfed.

How much effort have you made into making the game better for other people, faint has done more for this game in the last 3 months then you ever have, I have only started seeing you recently, which seems to me like you are a guild char used by multiple people, or you just haven't been on much for a while, If I knew the game was going 3 years ago, I would of jumped on it, I stumbled on it in the summer, yeah gutted I didn't find it earlier, I have a job I work between 50 and 60 hours a week, I have a sick relative and I have other IRL commitments which is why I cannot be on much recently. Simply put who do you think you are thinking you and some of DL run this game, this game is exactly that its a game, the GM team spend their own money with small donations from some players, stop trying to ruin it for other people just because some of DL have been playing for the last 3 years, I played this game 15 years ago, I started just outside of beta, don't act like you are gods gift, grow up.

And yes i'm sorry if i sound like an a-hole for that but it's true your job and your relative have nothing to do with this game, i didn't play beta... i also didn't play beta in a lot of games that i went in to but i played the official release or the new version (a completely different game, like this is to esoma) and guess what i was stronger than the people i outplayed time wise.

I never said anything about needing special treatment or deserving to be as strong as DL, based on the fact DL lvl each others chars and also have 5 or 6 guild chars in dominance including the char you are hiding behind, my point all along is you need to just accept the % system and just enjoy it, you got how many weeks in owning the GV yet you are still moaning that you have lower stats, they will build up and you will be back to normal, then you can get back to dominating the GVW for the next 2 months like usual, all I said was at the current % you have lost it has lowered your stats to the same point that the people who are fighting you are actually equal for a change, enjoy the change of pace and stop being so petty.

I don't think it's a case of not having a say how or what goes into the server I think what's causing the peevs is that when it wasn't going your way all sort of crap was posted . Where every guild and player before you wasn't handed this buffer . What some of the players would have done for a buff or a nerf in the eq days I can't put into words .
Anyway this post will get taken out of context as I've just returned to game a few weeks and a dl member

Imagine you had played this for 3 years, stuck up with all of the obvious hate and bias against you regardless of how innocent you are(or not) just because you are associated with a guild name. Along comes a bunch of fresh players who clearly act like gods gift (hence your hypocritical viewpoint - wanting everything on a plate for yourself because of your irl commitments which should be catered for in your opinion). Get continually insulted by these new people who were thought to be the new lifeblood of the server, but are instead just hellbent on making it cater to them regardless of how much effort you've put in, all in the name of fun at the expense of your own entertainment which makes you wonder why you even played for so long. These new people don't like that they haven't much of a chance at GVW because they virtually just made their characters, have no idea on the concept of cooperation or tactics, and think that it should basically be gifted to them just because they show up. A new % system is put in place to make an attempt at giving these new people a fighting chance when all of a sudden the rest of the level 100s 'who quit' just decide to appear after months of hibernation and now you are rendered useless. When you voice your opinion on the obvious flaws, you are shot down and told that you 'just want to dominate' and 'are gods gift' when its obviously and clearly the other way around since you worked on your character and gear to get where it is and the others have still yet to do that and still expect to win. Something tells me you would be slightly annoyed too, and since the only ways to express your frustration would be to; Not go to GVW - you would be breaking the rules "gifting the GVW to another guild" - banned or PK people - harrassment - banned or Post on the forum - get told to put up and shut up because you are ungrateful. Am I close?

How much money have you donated to the game? How much effort have you made into making the game better for other people, faint has done more for this game in the last 3 months then you ever have, I have only started seeing you recently, which seems to me like you are a guild char used by multiple people, or you just haven't been on much for a while, If I knew the game was going 3 years ago, I would of jumped on it, I stumbled on it in the summer, yeah gutted I didn't find it earlier, I have a job I work between 50 and 60 hours a week, I have a sick relative and I have other IRL commitments which is why I cannot be on much recently.
Simply put who do you think you are thinking you and some of DL run this game, this game is exactly that its a game, the GM team spend their own money with small donations from some players, stop trying to ruin it for other people just because some of DL have been playing for the last 3 years, I played this game 15 years ago, I started just outside of beta, don't act like you are gods gift, grow up.[/quote]

I never said anything about needing special treatment or deserving to be as strong as DL, based on the fact DL lvl each others chars and also have 5 or 6 guild chars in dominance including the char you are hiding behind, my point all along is you need to just accept the % system and just enjoy it, you got how many weeks in owning the GV yet you are still moaning that you have lower stats, they will build up and you will be back to normal, then you can get back to dominating the GVW for the next 2 months like usual, all I said was at the current % you have lost it has lowered your stats to the same point that the people who are fighting you are actually equal for a change, enjoy the change of pace and stop being so petty. Great a conspiracy nut, yes i level everyones char in DL because lvling my own would be a complete waste of time /sarcasm. Not hiding behind any chars this just happens to be one of my chars, you literally have tried attacking everyone by saying we don't contribute and we are ruining the game not so long ago No_mercy were winning for months on end and there wasn't half the crying there is now. The % system is a new idea and it doesn't work as well as it would with a cap on the % why do you need a handicapped opponent to beat them how about spend 6 months levelling like everyone else did when no_mercy won for months on end, Infact i don't even suggest that i'm all for change and making it "Fun for everyone" but there's nothing fun about hitting lvl 50's and doing 30 dmg as was mentioned above.
