TYT is an acronym for "Thousand Year Town" and is would be pronounced the same was TIGHT would.

"Abbreviations are usually pronounced as initialisms either when an acronym is not well known in a group (XAML or SQL often are spelled out the first few times they're used), and/or when there's no good way to turn it into a word."

Let's just all say it how we want . :D Besides if you want a real challange try saying my last name, Looije. Good luck, so far only a few languages I know of have done it (dutch, russian, swahili).
