Considering the leveling speeds have been doubled and rested rates drastically increased for people to level up quicker, shouldn't the same be done also for crafting rates so people can get skill up quicker?

Faster crafting speeds would be great however I feel it would be very unfair on those who have already put endless hours in.

Like the increased leveling rates are unfair. Like any additional patch since launch?

Backpack item
Take up all char base weight and inv slots Clicking it in inv open ups wh-like screen for only craft materials and crafted items Give a flat amount of bag weight over base (base amount+100 for example) Items in backpack cant be equipped or used Limit char move speed to walking (or slower if possible) Crafted items go into backpack (can only be sold/put into station for upgrade/transferred to wh until backpack removed) Why is it better than rate increase? Faster rate takes away all the effort put in by those well over 100 skill by whatever percent it is made faster as every point from 0-200 just got say 10% easier. It will make high skill crafters over populated due to how easy it is, reducing the reward for those who put the time in. People with high skill already, on the other hand probably don't mind people having it easier out of the starting blocks. The backpack solves a lot of issues: Benefits lower levels and skill chars more, giving diminishing returns to higher levels/skill as base bw+100 for example vastly improves a lower lvl/skill char bag weight and those extra materials contribute more per 0.1 skill at low skill in comparison to high level/skill where 100bw over base is nice but not game breaking and doesn't make gaining the skill easy as you still need a load per 0.1 skill. Restock races - allows low lvl/skill to get a nice amount in competition with high levels. WH running - can carry more to craft station so longer time crafting, with greater benefit the less base bag weight you have at the cost of walking back and forth. Why is it better than a sell all button? A sell-all button would disproportionately benefit higher levels with more slots as they can craft for longer with more slots then clear instantly recovering the barr spent on materials faster. It would help lower levels a little but would create an effect where people would wait till higher levels to craft and benefit more from it. People who are already high level crafters would pull away skill wise as you removed the only thing slowing them down, since bag weight isn't a problem. The main desire for mass sell is because of the aching feeling clicking through your inv. Id be open to a sell button that you could move like the repair hammer onto say shoes, it pops up asking quantity to sell and then sells them from your inventory for you at roughly same speed that it takes to produce, so your in the sell screen for roughly same time as clicking without you getting aching feeling, but its not made ridiculously easy to wipe an inventory clean. Downsides? The way its set up is also to stop hunting exploitation as you wouldn't be able to carry pots, or scrolls etc and forced to walk everywhere (maybe make it stop you equipping weapons/casting spells as well). Finally, make it armour craftable so the loom brigade can make some barr :)

if its a major deal.. just make it 10-20% faster mayb. Crafting really isnt that hard.. just DO IT!
We already got it easy.. put mats in once... hold mouse or tab out....... and we can craft thro the bag for skill. Its like.. mega ez compared to years ago prefer Fin to be using his time for cap+'s rather than designing rucksacks tbh x

"FIRESTORM"pretty sure someone mentioned a sell all button before, and it was approved (just scraping my memory here), seems like a much better idea than a rucksack imo 1 problem with a ''sell all button'' will make barr even more worthless than almost worthless.... will be zillionaires everywhere.

i agree a faster craft system would be ideal
i've done 2 characters 0-100 and its a really tedious part of the game (and the idea is you want players logging in surely?) seeing as you need 100 to do most of your own upgrades and people like myself prefer being the one doing the item. the argument that people before have already done it on slower rates isn't a valid point with the leveling rates being doubled and the rate rested is gained being massively buffed, it seems natural that newer players should be able to craft slightly easier even if it's only quicker 0-100 then characters like lupi who have gone higher are still unique it just means newer players can get to 100 without being bored to death and thinking there's multiple chars 150+ skill already Gand

I have done 152cooking 152potions, 100/70/70 on 3 chars, 150/70/70 on another. I don't feel that increasing speed is any different or less fair than increasing the leveling speeds was. It's all the same boat. And to be fair, if Lupi isn't objecting with 193+ skill done in weapons. Can't argue against it.
