Been chatting to some smart players but people opinions on how dex/eva/acc works are still split.
Some are saying its only works in +/- 5 so 100-104 dex is the same for example Then some say it works at .5 is evasion and 1.0 is eva. Some say Eva/acc is accumulative, some say it works in +/-5... Can someone who is 100% sure on how this works please clear it up for me :) For example if you have 100 dex and 10% acc does this mean you have 110 attacking dex? Thanks

Im not sure but i feel hitting a lot more on 300 dex bosses with 5% acc and 130 dex then a 200dex no acc char (dsoma)

From what I understand from the game mechanics they work something like this:
Stat benefits are gained at .5 of each lvl for str/dex. % to hit = (0.5 + Character Dex - Mob Def Dex)(upper bound 0.95 lower bound 0.05 - not sure exact bound here btw just giving an idea of mechanics) + Accuracy gear So for 100 dex vs 100 dex with no modifiers would be approx 50% hit rate. Reason why acc gear is nice vs 300 dex bosses is because you are at the lower bound on both characters so +5% acc is 10% hit rate on 130 dex char whilst 200dex char still stuck at 5% hit rate, if that makes sense. Works the same way with dex & eva.

Dex Vs Dex is like tipping a scale from 50/50 (simple terms) but accuracy and evasion from a certain amount of Dex over another player is capped at a certain point (i can't remember the actual %)
If you have +accuracy you always have that amount of accuracy on a player/mob (if they don't have evasion to cancel it out) so for instance on very high Dex mobs 100 Dex + say 18% in accuracy gear on a 300 Dex mob would be way better than having 200 Dex alone. Obviously 100% evasion was removed from this server and i think accuracy is capped at maybe 90+% too but I'm not too sure.

AttackDex = dex + item dex
DefenseDex = target dex + target item dex
HitDex = AttackDex - DefenseDex
HitDex == 0 then HitRate = 50%
HitDex < -50 then HitRate = 20%
Every 1 dex above is +1% evasion until 99% (49 dex above is the maximum 99%).
Every 1 dex below is -1% evasion until 36% (stops at 14 dex below).
Every 2 dex below starting at 15 dex below is -1% evasion until 23% (stops at 42 dex below).43 dex below is 23%
44 to 49 dex below is 21%
50+ dex below is 20%
After have got a HitRate from the above.
HitRate += Accuracy on items.
HitRate -= Target Evasion on items and evasion from aura.
HitRate is then kept within the bounds of 1% and 99%.[/quote]

"FINITO"AttackDex = dex + item dex Jus re-quoting cause roch original quote has a mistake due to copy paste transfiguring the '>' into an ambersand '&' which can be confusing
