An idea to help prevent pk harassment.

If you die grey 3 times, on the 3rd time you won't get the option to revive, you can only warp. Also after dying twice grey you will receive a debuff for say 1-2 hours so everytime you die grey after that you'll be forced to warp and the debuff is reset.
Forcing someone to warp grey means they could potentially lose stats, good items and are now in town - a better punishment than what's in place atm.
This will pretty much stop the constant slowing/blinding etc from low lvl chars and give pkers something to think about.
You could even have a number or color above or on their names signifying if they've died grey in the last hour or 2, to help stop people from pking spawn to spawn.

Its an idea but it wont prevent high levels griefing noobs as they know they wont die grey.
If highish ppl didnt go round killing nubs for no reason then I feel high levels wouldn't have to put up with low levels harrasing them.

Chicken and egg and its my view the pking of random low levels is the egg.

All high lvls have high lvl enemies. This could be an incentive for the enemies to help out lowbies once asked.

You could also make it that if you have Wicked moral you are forced to warp on the 2nd grey death. If Devil moral, everytime you die grey you'll have to warp.

and a bigger -moral for killing

Should make it auto warp if you die more than (3) times in 2minutes regardless. This would prevent griefing across the board, either player on player or loosing % / stats to destroy a char.

Nice idea though.

That would just encourage pkrs to kill to get people's drops. Thats a shit idea.

Realy like the idea or the better solution as mention above would be for moral points to be lossed per hit. So the nubs slowing would eventualy loose moral.

If you are grey from a pk then it should remain for a prolonged period. 15 minutes? During this time you may not teleport, use gbirds

Force ALL grey deaths to warp to town (if you pkd someone and die you're an idiot and deserve this)

Resurrection scrolls should not work when grey this means any death is punishable.

Make it so slow, blind, confuse can only be used on enemies (people that are grey, mobs, rvr)

If you die grey you lose big stats so make it so if you die Grey you HAVE to lose stats.

There's enough things that can be done to deter pking and griefing but the fact is pk'ing is a part of the game and shouldn't be such a big qq issue. I can see how it prevents people hunting etc so these deterrents may prevent it.

Or maybe like Mafia Wars on Facebook where you can add someone to the hitlist for a bounty and once they're dead you have to pay up.

If you get killed 3 times in a row, without TPing, your an idiot.

Besides Pking does have to have a few pros, the benefit of a drop is one of those things.

If you're grey... you're the aggressor.

It would work the same way vs DYN/EQ as it would vs CN players.

Don't bother s0rc, some people are just clueless.

This idea isn't to prevent pking, in fact it encourages more group pking.
If you go grey you're the person looking for a fight so this method could bring the fight to you.
I don't agree with disabling res scrolls when grey or instant warp on a grey death for the first pk you make as you could of accidentally hit someone or even have a lag associated death.
If you die 3 times grey with in an hour knowing you could potentially lose items you're either griefing your own character or you're having too good of a fight that you forget how many times you've died.
This doesn't change anything to do with the pvp atm, it just helps punish those who want to ruin it for others.

I like the idea orange.
It should apply unanimously though. This would prevent a whole heap of grief abuses.

As for people complaining about loosing items. After you've been killed once TP. Hell its easier on this server not to get killed as you can see pkers coming from a wider view, thus you can TP quicker.

If you dont have a TP on ur belt, and your afraid of being killed, then quite frankly you are a fool.
