It's plain to see. Humans don't go cont because of fear of dropping items. Months, years to make , its not a risk most are prepared to take.
It seems the most popular opinion as to why the cont is redundant and hardly used.
Simple fix, no drops, and humans-devs might have a bit more action
Just an opinion.
Cant realistically be argued against.
People talk about 'its the way its always been.. the e-soma way' why change it; no need to change it.
Well, esoma died, because losing items was never fun, and still isnt fun.
Change for the better is good. More fun not misery. Less misery = more players playing !
Not a lot to ask for
This server and game way better than esoma. Dont let 15 year old memories deny or cloudy the aspirations of what can be possible here.

Humans don't hunt in conti cause they fear dropping something they don't hunt there cause there's no reward for the chance of dropping,

Make conti worth hunting and I bet humans will hunt. They just won't be there in there 7+ stinger ...

would take some mighty rewards to compensate dropping a +7 stinger? With the stat differences.. they need to hunt in their +7 stingers and best gear

Maybe keep items drop but don't force warp. Might actually see some decent rvr if revive is possible. Could have different set of rules or maybe rvr revive scrolls at a cost.or 5% penalty to revive

I dropped my only good bow there last night and I'm pretty sure I'm never getting it back, so its definitely stung a bit and got me re-evaluating going back there in a hurry. Having said that, I'd be hesitant to outright say no dropping items there, because its part of the fabric of Soma. Once you change that it can be a slippery slope.

If you were to, I'd almost be tempted to double/triple the chance of dropping something from you inventory and/or increasing the pos gain from killing. It is a bit of a kick in the guts though when you drop a weapon you've invested a lot of time into, especially for a low level scrub like myself.

It was only an Epic Apus +1 but I'm only a noob and have broken many on my way to getting that one haha, was my first ever upgraded item. Not a sob story however, I took the risk in going there knowingly etc etc.
