Im only lvl 72 but honestly in esoma I used to love Wotw even though I was lower in esoma as its felt you could still do something. However on here its instant death when a devil hits you even hunting on conti if humans win. There really is just no fun in the lower levels even turning up and the reward of wining conti is worthless to my level as its next to impossible to hunt on it.

Honestly this would be exactly the same for a lvl 72 dev. Easily 1 shot by magic and wouldn't really hurt any capped players. Unfortunately on both sides RvR is predominantly for capped chars..

You say that, but speaking to a lot of humans. People generally dislike doing int, and put off until they cap str. Mainly down to it being boring, expensive with mana pots and a lack of variety of mobs (hello nightmares from 80 int unto 170+ if you can bare getting more than about 98)
I personally don't plan on getting over 100 int by the time I cap, ergo my toon will be worthless even at cap for RvR. But as others have mentioned, I'm among the people that won't even turn up at Wotw 1) Cba wasting time when I'll just get 1-2 shot at level 86 2) even if we won, I couldn't actually hunt in conti due to not wanting to drop what gear I do have, when a capped dev gets bored. Before someone comes in with the usual "wear hero armour, an unstoppable set huhuhuhu". Apart from the helm and boots, I don't think I've worn any of the other parts since I got into bone armour. Never mind not wanting to drop weapons/accessorys. If I'm hunting mobs with the best stat per % than I'd have to wear my best gear. 3) 10% increased speed isn't that much, not really noticeable

I'll also add before I get the whole "we'll just giggle and slow people", kinda hard when even when wearing full 4% Eva set, I can't get a cast off before an ancher bows me and interrupts

It's really not the game's fault you don't want to do int (lack of monsters notwithstanding but this is endemic to Soma in general). Re 2) - no different to most devil chars with bored humans like Aibaar who log on no risk chars (Chewie) in hero gear and go around stoning/killing lvl 50s. We don't complain because we know it runs both ways.

pros and cons to dev/humans.... Point is.. it cant be denied devs have way op mele stats compared to humans. Why not let humans go ahead with cap+ .. gain a few more mele stats and even things up ( slightly) .. while gm's sort out the dsoma cap+ / update?

No but it's the games fault pigeon holing people into having to do int to even be viable in RvR.

Are you forgetting how limited a dev can be with regards to int training, whats is your con on your humans? can you imagine having to do full levels of pur punching to get int, its horrendous.

"ALEXISONFIRE"No but it's the games fault pigeon holing people into having to do int to even be viable in RvR. So what do you want? Humans to be able to have higher int and also be able to take on devils in melee? What's the point in devil soma at all in this case because they are already limited to 1 weapon only and whilst a 1 devil who is currently active has spent 3000 or so hours punching to 100 for large int the rest of us top out at around 90 without punching and will soon be capped to around that at the very maximum. You just present a very narrow view of the world where it seems you want to be able to be stronger in everything than a devil whilst having the choice to choose int/dex/str gains using any weapon you like at any time with vastly improved upgrades. Consider from the other point of view that whilst I agree devils are overpowered currently in melee RvR that is basically all that half of the game has as a strength.

Also worth mentioning that part of the reason for Dsoma's sudden burst in popularity is that people are getting increasingly fed up with the Hsoma community.
You're all too busy trying to PK each other for a +7 bow so you can brag about it over world chat for a month to focus on grouping together and actually trying RvR properly. This thread has now got out of hand so that's my last comment on the matter.

I'll just shut up and apologise at this point. I'm not that great at putting across my point, so maybe I should leave this discussion.
If I wanted to make a melee toon I should have just made a devil If I want to make a Mage, I should make a human That's how it works I guess :)

u still missing the point loads of hsoma players never consider RvR when they build their chars and they end up doing fk all dmg when they go to RvR events were us devils we do build our chars with RvR in mind cause most of the best mobs that drops the phat loot spawn there.
