This would mean however that healing would be even better but also more needed. Resulting in more work for lower levels. It's also a strategic dicision - do you have your noobs heal or debuff. Removing heal would kill off some of this strategy.
Other ideas I've liked is increased damage for the stone holder (increase of let's say 1% per minute) or a decrease in stats the same way. Another idea would be making the stone area (2 range around stone) recieve 2x damage.[/quote]

When have low levels ever held a stone in soma history? Why spent time levelling when a low level can hold the stone? Sure people can get lucky but that's all it should be. Not a given.
The more I think about it the more I think it should be left as is. I wouldn't regard myself as low level however when I had all the people attacking me that I did for 4 mins solid I didn't exactly have many +100s left after that.

When I say low lvl I mean some one within 20 lvls of the top players, increase damage on stone and they won't stand a chance, put a pot delay and they won't stand a chance.
As it stands now, there's that chance within final minute they manage to get on stone, pot like mad and win gv door locked last 5 mins to gv owners, maybe increase time of lock for how many wins in row, this way guild owns can't help directly stone holder, but can defend the door Move gv owners spawn to other side of gv, so they have just as long run to get back fighting

I dont think there is much problem with the strongest winning all the time.
However yhere are many ways in which gvw can br improved as a whole, who wouldnt want to see more stone changes, i dont think it should be possible that anyone can hold the stone for more than 2/3 minutes. People have suggested removing heal from gvw altogether, but that would hinder low lvls who cant do much other than heal cure slow ect, one idea is if you are on the stone you cannot be healed, thos will effect everyone equally, the strongest guild will still probably win but would make more action / fun to see people actually dying and more stone changes. Or make the person on the stone take 25-50% more damage or introduce a similar pot delay to sacred stone, which once again does not affect anyone more than anyone else, it is not aimed at "hating on eq for winning so much" it affects everyone equally and make gvw a more enjoyable experience on a whole. All ideas mentioned above are in reference to Hsoma only.

And your point is? That changes nothing lol
I am only saying whoever is on stone should not get heals. Everyone can still heal everyone else. |

However much harder you make it for plum to tank your making it doubly harder for the under dogs to tank. Its soma, Plum deserves to be able do what he does.
If people turn up an be as organised as EQ Plum wont last so long. When we dissolved the alliance the war before we merged, EQ made a focused attack on Plum before he even got near the stone to start draining his pots early. Its just basic tactics, he had like 4 pots left when he won that.

Same tactic used on dsoma, it's the reason we chase Slayer about when he's not even on the stone and the reason I've always got like 8 people on me when I'm remotely close to the stone lol.

You fail to see the point sephiroth, Its not like i am saying ONLY Plum should not be able to be healed or take more damage. Plum will still last much longer than everyone else on the stone, and rightfully so. he deserves to.
The changes i proposed affect everyone equally, it will also affect the underdogs too, however it reduces the time that any player can tank the stone without dying, emphasis on any. The concept is that any player regardless of how strong will last a shorter amount of time on the stone, resulting in more stone changes.

"GHOSTLORD"So far the best idea I've heard (imo) is putting the same pot delay for GVW as on SS (1 pot per second). Just make heal and cure poison both 2 cast spells for GV. Don't adjust anybody's % or stats, that's what they train for.

I believe a better solution would be to limit or reduce the amount of support they can receive from allies when on the stone (nerfing heal and make cure not work ONLY if targeting someone on the stone). I believe items cannot be dropped in GVW and this was done because the person on the stone should take the beating using their own resources, not that of allies. Make it so players have to burn through their own supplies of potions and serums if they want to hold the stone and you'll see far more stone changes.
