Guild village monopolisation: Is it a problem?

What would be better is if the guild leader could choose what coords/map the caretaker can warp you to.


bare in mind this can be easily exploitable from humans,and cause alot of problems....

Maybe slightly offtopic but GVW is a guild effort but only the 10? members on the board get access to trace? Always seemed a tad harsh to me. Maybe more guilds would go if everyone in the guild could reap the benefits of having trace insteada just the board members.

I agree with this, I think allied guilds should be able to use after certain amount of defenses

The alliance feature is currently broke. me an Plum couldn't get it to work when he was leader of Dynamic.

alliance in gvw should be removed completely, if u want trace win it :D

but ye, think it should spread out to the hole guild to use trace, and the full board for recall

I think we were on our 2nd or more consecutive win and me an Plum both had over 50 charisma.

A search on somadev fourms revealed people on past servers having the same problem, apparently its been broke since esoma.

I believe he is saying, some players in EQ have been accusing him and Garp of wasting their pots.

He is pointing out its double standards, as when he was in EQ, you used the same tactics.

Don't wan't to put words in peoples mouths, but that is what it appears like.

Hey Guys,
To be honest GvW is fine as it is. Its a normally supposed to be guilds vs guilds. But...
Its normally Eq vs 3~4 Other Guilds, remember eq is only 25People when it comes to being active for gvw, and 3~4 other guilds (Fusion, No mercy , Arcanix ,G5) They've got healers/curers wtf?

I mean wtf? The strongest player in Eq is Plum, I really think that guilds shouldn't be allied, and really you shouldn't be able to heal/cure do something positive to a guild your not in, (So you can only cure/heal people that are in your guild, not someone else in another guild)

On the other hand, I think there should be some sort of percentage for GvW (Incorporate charisma in this) So the amount of charisma the leader has would be the amount of damage/percent you would have, or Say you had 50charisma, this should be 45% of what ever charisma you have in this case 27.5% would be what your on, would be alot shitter actually forget what I said about charisma, should be 75% of what your charisma is.

And... Make it so the person on stone gets a 10% damage debuff, and 5% more damage inflicted would be nice.

I Play Dsoma but just saw Humans guild village, near enough similar if not the same as last week..

Make Guild village - both devil's and Humans % based?
After winning ~
the second week the defending guild is 80% of there stats?
then get's lower by 15% after..

Just an idea.

Absurd idea in my opinion. There might be an issue balancing humans vs devils to warrant the % change then because it affects the benefits to everyone of the race that owns conti and that can get demoralising with the addition of the chance you will haemorrhage PoS, but if you want to beat the defending guild village owners and gain trace (and that's literally all you gain)I think it's right that you need to be better than them on that day. I'm sorry bit suggesting 80% after one defence is nothing short of lunacy.

If anything there should be no penalty until at least 5 defences, and even then increments of 5% would be enough. At the end of the day, if you don't put as much time and effort in to levelling and/or don't have the right tactics to dethrone them, why do you deserve to beat the host? It will change hands more frequently as more and more people cap anyway...
