GM Why is SARIN ID not landed?

Author Content Date
Quoted for truth, did wonder how he was constantly hitting Palus from 2 distance away due to spear range.

In truth the GMs have been warned about this going on since we were all at devil warriors quite some time although nobody could get proof it certainly does answer the question as to when I see new Chinese players suddenly in sorcery with third staff. Especially with the speed hack for getting pots etc. I was at Leiver beast and all of a sudden Leo has 50 bread dropped two squares away which he picks up.

It can't be done by looking at hours anymore it seems like almost everyone needs fraps installed to catch them.

"S0RCERER"
"BASIL"Speed hack client only allows you to run faster, it does not effecting attacking nor does it cast faster.

True, but if you witnessed how he was using the speed client, you'd see that it allows him to hunt monsters far stronger than he can take without the risk of taking any damage what-so-ever.

I first caught him hunting Scaled Raptors on a level 5 character(or thereabouts) due to the raps having 10dex.
He would be able to move 10 spaces for every space the raptor made, but he would literally teleport, allowing him to "hit and run" without ever stopping.

In addition to that, he was able to 'trace' back to his hunting spot immediately after teleporting to town to drop items in wh/sell junk/bring more weapons.

I would not be surprised if he was doing this to BLG and other monsters beyond his character's normal strength.

The bizarre thing is that he was doing it plain as day in front of many people without care that what he was doing was cheating in every sense of the word.

Then that person should report it to the advisor of that world. Leave it up to the GM's to dicide what is racist and what is not.

Or you could pass it on to the appropriate fellow staff member, now that it's within the public domain? Don't see why it being reported is necessary now.

How is that not racist ? More like the decision should be left up to the GM's on the punishment.

That goes hand-in-hand though. If you want the written version of how the event goes here it is:
Suspected racist thing occurs
Player sees it and dicides if he thinks it's worth reporting or not
Player records it (screenshot/vidoe)
Player reports it to the advisor of the world he/she plays in
The advisor considers whether it's worth the GM's time - most of the cases this will be yes
GM's dicide further action - warning, punishment or ignore

There's multiple people who have to think for himself if the action is racist or not. It shouldn't be discussed endlessly on the forum.

Were these cheats caught by the server or by gm/advisor's seeing the crime in action?

Would it be possible to make it so that players who are banned temporarily for botting/speed hacks etc to have rested exp that works the other way? So stats take 2x longer to gain instead of faster with the % of non-rested exp based on level of char?

I get the same annoyance about this, as I do about people like Waltjr.

He gets banned for a week for crafting macros and things, then little do you know a week later he is selling SR's.

CEO is abusing a client, in a weeks time he will still be running around in bone armour like it was all just a dream.

In a game where grinding = everything. A weeks ban as a punishment doesn't really do much in my opinion.

There should be stat and level reductions depending on what was being abused.

THEN it would stop.

Character deletion and IP ban.

This game... no... no game needs these kinds of players.

I do not understand why cheats are not permanently banned. I have said this before and I will say it again to cheat is to actively seek to gain an unfair advantage, something the user is in full control over and should be big enough to take the consequences, that of a permanent ban.

Without pointing fingers, look at the name and shame thread.... no coinsidences there.

It's 2014 and the server is flourishing, I think the slate should be wiped clean and it made clear that if you cheat you get a permanent ban.
